Demi Lovato is still on the mend, in a rehab center, trying to get her life back in order.  Part of that recovery was settling with the girl she decked while on tour with the Jonas Brothers in October.

Alex Welch got some serious cash from Demi, but they are keeping the numbers confidential.  That tells me it was a pretty large amount.  I haven’t decided if I think it’s okay that Alex took the money.  I don’t know… it just seems shady.  But, that’s the way the world works anymore, so we will move on and let Demi do the same.

Alex’s lawyer Donald Karpel, told TMZ,

“The parties are satisfied and the dispute has been resolved amicably and completely.”

That’s a great thing for Demi.  She can now put that drama behind her and continue her treatment.  Good luck to you girl and Happy Holidays!

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have made their separation permanent.  Ryan filed for divorce on Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court and then Scarlett filed her divorce response simultaneously.  This proves that they are doing this “together” without all the drama that a lot of the media would like us to believe there is.  Neither one is seeking spousal support, can you imagine if one of them did?  They both have such HUGE careers, they’d look like fools.

I could NEVER do it.  What if something does go wrong?  That’s not my idea of a good time or the way I’d way to leave this earth. But kudos to Snooki for either being really brave or just jumping on the opportunity for a little more attention.
