Say what?!  She’s only 32 years old!  Yep, girl has been dieting since she was 9 years old.  Ginnifer Goodwin is a beautiful, talented actress that I would never have known had weight issues.  But Weight Watchers has been part of her life, well practically all her life.  She shared her lifelong “journey” with Health Mag,

“I have been a member of Weight Watchers for 23 years and I’m back on it right now.  It’s the only thing on the planet that doesn’t dehydrate you or just make you miserable.”

Ginnifer grew up in the South where everything and I mean everything is fried.  The city of Memphis set her up to fail,

“I really did go through a period when I was very little when I remember realizing that vegetables did not come out of the ground deep-fried,” she recalls. “I changed my eating habits in fourth grade because I was a heavy little girl and I was unhappy.”

When she made the choice to change, it wasn’t the easiest transition,

“I remember my mom making dinner for me the first night that I was on this new program, and I burst out crying because the vegetables were green,” she tells the mag. “I thought she was trying to starve me to death.”

Ginnifer has now found a really nice balance with her diet and exercise,

“I have a trainer who used to be a New York City Ballet ballerina, and she does a lot of hybrid Pilates ballet,” she says. “I like the elliptical, ’cause I feel like I’m dancing. And I’m also big on speed-walking outside. Like, I’ll speed-walk a couple of miles, get a cup of coffee, speed-walk back. It’s so easy! Just break a sweat for 30 minutes and you’re fine.”

I am loving that idea.  Speed walking to get coffee.  Now that’s my kind of exercise.  Maybe P90X can wait….

Ginnifer has a very healthy perspective on her body image no matter what, and that in itself is very impressive,

“Even when I’m too heavy, I’m still confident because I never actually let myself go.  I can be indulgent for six months and put on some weight, but I still never actually get to the point of being unhappy and self-destructive.”

I so appreciate her honesty and I believe that a lot of people will be inspired through her story.  Thank you Ginnifer!

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have only been married for a couple of months now, but so far so good.  The love is still alive and well. And so is the bedroom action.  Are you surprised?  Of course these two sizzle!  Look at them.  Would you expect anything less?  Katy has her ways of keeping all the heat where it needs to be.  She told Grazia,

“I have secrets and magic tricks, of course. I can’t share them because then you’d all know.  But let’s just say I’m not shy.”

They do seem to have a pretty perfect balance worked out so far,

“We’re both busy, but this is a huge part of my life. I call the shots on my schedule,” Perry says. “There are weekends for Russ and weekends for me and my friends. Neither of us ever wants to lose ourself or the other in fame.”

Will they ever settle down and have babies?  Definitely, but they have plenty of time for that and are just enjoying their lives together, as a couple for now,

“Every day he amazes me,” she gushes. “He makes me laugh like no one else. We are each other’s perfect match.”

Kat Von D and Jesse James don’t seem to be letting up at all.  Posing for photos, making a heart with their hands.  Ew.  I still think that Jesse should be keeping his relationship as private as possible.  Sure, I know that a lot of you think he’s moving on and he has the right.  But for some reason, since I don’t know… he CHEATED, he shouldn’t be flaunting it publicly with his new glory hole until Sandra Bullock has found someone and gone public.  Sort of a respect thing, which Jesse James clearly knows nothing about.

Yvonne Strahovski loves her rescued pups, Chazzie and Wilbur.  They are her companions who are always by her side, even on the set of Chuck.

Yvonne has joined the cause to save animals with PeTA in the “Adopt, Don’t Buy” campaign.  She says,

“I think it’s really important that people become aware of the amount, the mass of animals that are sitting in shelters as opposed to people going out and just buying puppies that are being bred.  There are just so many dogs that are just as gorgeous―whether they’re mixed or purebred or whatever―they’re all gorgeous, and they all have personalities, and they all need a home.”

I couldn’t agree more.  I fully stand behind adopting pets.  It’s the only way to bring a pet home.  My cat is rescued and I will always be a “rescuer”, you should be too.  Be an angel like Yvonne and save a sweet pet this Christmas, you’ll feel the love once you do.

I am so accustomed to seeing Jersey Shore’s Snooki majorly overdone and fake looking that when I saw this photo she posted on her Twitter page, I was a tad shocked.  This is the most relaxed and natural that I’ve ever seen her.  Honestly, she almost looks great!
