President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will not be invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding next year.

Royal sources say that the President and his wife are not on the guest list because their wedding is not classified as a ‘state occasion’.

Apparently the Prince and his fiancee are wanting more “normal” people to attend their wedding.  I can totally respect that.  If I was the bride, even if I was marrying a prince, I wouldn’t want the President of the United States stealing my freaking thunder.

President Reagan and his wife Nancy were invited to Princess Diana’s wedding, so it would be more traditional to have Obama there.  But I say, more power to the bride and groom for doing what they want.

Brad Womack pissed off just about every female in America on his last stint (2007) on The Bachelor when he jilted Deanna Pappas and Jenni Croft at the end.  What he was thinking, I will never know.  But this second chance he’s gotten is a new story, so he says,

“I can promise you there is a very happy ending.  I did find somebody, I did fall in love. So for viewers who wanted to see that, it happened, a true love story happened,” Womack insisted. “I’m very much in love. I’m a happy guy.”

His reason for coming back and being “successful” this time?

“I was so much more open to the process…It was just so much more fun…I don’t know. The women were so much more engaging.”  He added that “not too much drama occurred” among the 30 women vying for his heart. “There were some really, really good women, and we had a great time.”

Brad Womack Is Back As The Bachelor

Well, if we know ABC and drama, we know that they will work the cameras “just so” giving us more drama than we can handle.  Yes, I will be there.

Jurnee Smollett stars on one of my all time favorite shows, Friday Night Lights.  She has also landed a part on The Defenders, which I haven’t seen, but I’ve heard great things about it.

Turns out the girl tied the knot back on October 24 and kept the media out of it.  She wanted a low key, intimate wedding and she got it at a beautiful botanical garden in Los Angeles.

Oh yeah!  The guy!  She married a musician, Josiah Bell.  And they are very happy indeed,

“It was such a fun process,” the actress says. “We didn’t hire a wedding planner. Josiah and I literally decided every detail together.  He was right there for every decision.  It’s incredible,” she says. “My best friend is my life partner. It doesn’t get any better than that.”

Congrats to the newlyweds!  You make a very beautiful couple.

Former Melrose Place star, Amy Locane was involved in a deadly auto accident back in June in Montgomery, NJ.  Locane had several glasses of wine before she crashed into another car, killing the female passenger in the front seat.

Today the grand jury in Somerset County indicted Locane on charges of aggravated manslaughter and assault.  She will now face 10-30 years in prison for the manslaughter charge and then another 5-10 years for the assault by auto charge.

Her lawyer, Blair Zwillman said he’s “surprised” at the aggravated manslaughter charge, adding, “I don’t believe it is supported by the law or the facts and I think it constitutes over-reaching by the prosecutor’s office.”

I don’t get that part either.  If she was out to hurt someone, the aggravated part would make sense.  I am not saying she shouldn’t do the time.  It’s just a really sad story for one night, for a horrible decision.  Hopefully this helps others make the right choice when they are in the same situation.

Yesterday, David Arquette was on Howard Stern’s show, again and this time he sounded like he needed to be medicated.  This split from Courteney Cox is really starting to take a toll on the guy.  He’s seeing a therapist weekly, but I don’t think it’s helping. Thanks to completely embarrassing himself at a Christmas party by calling Tom Cruise, Sean… he’s quitting drinking.  (Yeah right!)

All of that was kind of “normal” for someone in his shoes.  But what blew me away was the way he was talking about his ex, Drew Barrymore,

“I know she is with Justin Long and everything, but would cool would an Arquette-Barrymore child be?” he said. “From a pure breeding standpoint.”

Who says that stuff?!  He has to be insane.  I think that Drew better get some tighter security for awhile, at least until David gets his head on straight.  This guy is falling to pieces. Wow.
