“I want to try to be single my whole year of being 30.  I’ve never just dated and done whatever I wanted.”

Kim thinks she doesn’t have time to get serious about one guy,

“I have a hundred different jobs — when do I have time to really focus on someone?”

That has never stopped her before.  Kim loves her jock boy toys and I don’t know that this New Year’s Resolution of sorts is going to play out, and neither does she,

“I’ve made a promise to myself and I’m really trying hard to stick to it, but I’m such a hopeless romantic that it’s hard,” she explains. “I don’t think that’s going to last, because that’s just how I am. But the fact that I’m trying is a big step for me!”

Well good luck with that Kim…. meanwhile, I am taking side bets on who her next athlete man will be……

Lindsay Lohan wasn’t allowed to leave California for Thanksgiving even though she really wanted to fly out to New York to see her mom and siblings.  So, she was really hoping that she would get the okay for a Christmas visit out there.  Surprisingly, Betty Ford was okay with it, but the L.A. County Probation Department said no way.

So what’s a girl stuck in rehab supposed to do?  Count on your family to do the right thing, and believe it or not, Dina Lohan is coming through.  She’s flying out with the kids, Ali, Michael, and Cody to spend a couple of days with Lindsay in California for Christmas.  Nice!

And in case you were wondering, Michael Lohan has been banned from the “festivities.”

Miley has been saying, she’s just young and having fun, according to friends in direct contact with her, TMZ is reporting.  Miley knew that the video would end up online, but she’s not sweating it.

One friend of Miley’s out it bluntly,

“Miley doesn’t care. She’s filming her movie and getting on with her life.”

Good for her.  Now everyone else should do the same.

What a departure Robert Pattinson’s film Water For Elephants is from his Twilight franchise! I didn’t think he could look cuter or have more sex appeal but my goodness he looks exquisite in this film. He’s one of these guys that is going to get better and better looking as he ages. Hot. Damn. Yes I know the above picture has nothing to do with this film, but he looks so smoking hot!

The film also stars Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz (heavy hitting cast, huh?) and is set for release April 15, 2011. He is currently filming Twilight Saga:  Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2. I sincerely hope he finishes in time to do the promotional tour for this movie.  It looks like a great movie! He plays the main character Jacob Jankowski:

Either Nick Lachey just spilled the beans to Rachael Ray, or he’s being a total tease.  While talking about his upcoming wedding to his fiance, Vanessa Minnillo, Nick dropped some hints,

“We’re going to be in Cincinnati with family, and hopefully having a white Christmas,” said Lachey. “We’re going to be in Tuscany for New Year’s. Who knows, we may be married in Tuscany, too!”

How romantic is that?  A New Year’s wedding in Tuscany!?  Oh I hope this is the actual plan!  Not that Nick is really involved in the planning,

“I just basically told her, I said, ‘Tell me where to be, when to be there and what to wear, and I’ll be there,’” he said.

Earlier today it was being reported that Jake Gyllenhaal gave girlfriend Taylor Swift an $11,000 rare guitar for his songstress.

The Sun reported that he will surely be getting lucky for Christmas as a result of the generous gift. Apparently The Sun claimed he purchased a Fender Gretsch – signed by country music legend Chet Atkins and that Swift had “drooled over” in a Nashville store.

Gossip Cop has come to the rescue and set that story straight saying that sources close to both Taylor and Jake say the story is hooey.

Considering they’ve only been dating a few months, perhaps that’s a bit overkill when it comes to giving the first birthday present, no? These two are so cute together. Do you think they make a good couple?
