Bret Michaels got the scare of his life when earlier this year (April) he underwent an emergency appendectomy only to then collapse from a near-fatal brain hemorrhage.  His health troubles didn’t stop there as he later suffered a stroke and was subsequently diagnosed with a hole in his heart.

He is a walking miracle to say the least! His recovery is nothing short of a miracle and he’s not taking it for granted. Since his appendectomy he has sworn off alcohol completely but isn’t fully recovered telling People:

“I’m only 85 per cent back, so I can’t kickbox. I have short-term memory loss, so I have to repeat things to myself over and over. And I haven’t had a good night’s sleep since. My goal next year is to rock harder and sleep more!”

“I haven’t had a drop of alcohol since my appendectomy. I didn’t fight through this to want to die…

In addition to giving up the alcohol he has his priorities straight:

“My thing now is spending time with Kristi and our daughters. I don’t want my legacy to be a hemorrhage. I want it to be: I’m a fighter, I’m passionate, I’m hardworking, and I love music.”

Those straightened-out priorities still don’t include marriage any time soon:

“I respect marriage, but it’s the leading cause of divorce! I still get a little sweaty about the marriage thing. I don’t want to ruin our relationship by getting engaged and suddenly feeling like, ‘This really isn’t what I wanted; I just wanted to stay where we were.’”

Isn’t it still mind-boggling how he has recovered from all that he went through? We wish him a 100% recovery.

Justin Timberlake is back on the set of Now with co star Amanda Seyfried after having recovered from a calf injury earlier this month that resulted in the set being shut down until his return.

He and Amanda high-five one another and in other pictures we see JT crouching over someone I presume he or Amanda’s character shot. I love Amanda’s natural long, blonde hair but she looks so cool with the short red hair and high shoes!

You know they are on location in Los Angeles, because if they were on the east coast, Justin Timberlake’s man-berries would have shattered like broken glass.

The cast of Burlesque, Cher, Christina Aguilera, Kristen Bell and Cam Gigandet all pose at the Crazy Horse in Paris where they had a photo call earlier today.

They are on a worldwide promotional tour of Burlesque that earlier was in London, England. Christina performed Express from the film on Saturday’s X-Factor and met with much criticism that the performance was too sexy (Rihanna’s performance also received the same criticism). Numerous complaints were made to the U.K.’s Office Of Communication, but Christina defends it saying:

“I don’t think there is such a thing as too raunchy when it comes to the art form of burlesque.

“It’s very empowering to women to feel confident in their own skin and in their bodies and this represents that.

“Everyone in the spotlight is judged and there are many opinions out there but I stick true to what I believe in.”

Usher is not only sexy hot and talented, but he’s got a great sense of humour. Case in point: that accidental kick in the face during his concert the other day wasn’t a big deal as it’s a hazard of the job:

“In all my years, this is one of the most interesting experiences. I got a kick out of it!” he tells UsMagazine.com exclusively. “It looked worse than it actually was. My audience and I got a good laugh.

The poor girl was mortified and apologizing all over the place and hugging the hot piece of man meat. But Usher has a message for that girl:

“Wherever you are baby, don’t feel bad,” Usher says. “No hard feelings.”

Oh damn. Imagine having Usher call you baby? And you just know he says it with that sexy smile of his. Lucky girl.

This card makes me think that Khristmas at the Kardashians isn’t a happy event. No one is smiling. It’s almost macabre. The clothes, styling and decor is very high end so I would imagine if you get this card in the mail you feel kind of honoured that rich people sent you a card, lol. Kim looks like an old-time Hollywood star.
