Gwyneth Paltrow showed some skin in a while Emilio Pucci at last night’s premiere of Country Song in Los Angeles that also stars Garrett Hedlund, Leighton Meester and Tim McGraw:

A drama centered on a rising country-music songwriter (Hedlund) who sparks with a fallen star (Paltrow). Together, they mount his ascent and her comeback, which leads to romantic complications involving her husband/manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester).

She both acts and sings in the film and talked to Access Hollywood about the Golden Globe snub for the movie:

“You know, it’s just one of those [things]… you know, what are you going to do?” she told Access. “It’s like you can’t control the way things go.”

“I think that they put the movie in the drama category instead of the musical category, so I guess it was just… you know. It was a good year for lots of people,”

And thanks to the  filming of this movie in Nashville, she could eat a deep-fried battered cockroach and not bat an eye:

“Fried food is my weakness. I don’t have a sweet tooth. You could fry a cockroach in batter and basically I’d eat it.”

“Never have I met such warm people, heard such good music, eaten so much fried chicken. I could go on and on. At a place called Whiskey Kitchen the sweet potato fries are delicious, the fried chicken sliders do the trick, and the biscuits are the best I sampled in the city of Nashville. What more could you ask for?”

The movie is in theatres January 7, 2011.

Jim Carrey is running and rolling around in the snow in New York’s Central Park where he is filming Mr. Popper’s Penguins:

The life of a businessman begins to change after he inherits six penguins, and as he transforms his apartment into a winter wonderland, his professional side starts to unravel

Jim Carrey and six penguins should be a hoot. The film also stars Carla Gugino, Angela Lansbury and James Tupper who I have hearted badly ever since Men in Trees.

The movie is set for release August 12, 2011.

I am sooo super excited for Greyson Chance.  This child prodigy is going places fast. Justin Bieber is going to look small next to this kid.  I am serious.  If you haven’t heard of Greyson, he’s a 12 year old YouTube sensation that is rising to the top, quick style. WTF?  Charlie Sheen gets away with everything and gets paid WAY too much, all at the same time.  It drives me nuts.  I certainly don’t think that Capri Anderson was honest or attempting to press charges for the right reasons.  She’s a total gold digger.  She’s a hooker.  Enough said.  The cops say that Sheen wasn’t committing any sort of crime and the whole case is being dropped, according to TMZ.

BUT, Charlie Sheen is a constant train wreck that just won’t stop.  He did screw up that night in the Plaza Hotel in NYC.  He was raging drunk and naked.  He’s completely unstable and somehow gets to continue on this path, renewing his contract for Two and a Half Men, getting $2 million an episode.  Charlie Sheen is so not worth THAT.

Hulk Hogan and his now bride Jennifer McDaniels decided to get married today, just to change things up at bit in the midst of all the divorces and splits going on in Hollywood. Seriously, it’s like a Black Friday sale on divorces or something.

The ceremony took place in Clearwater, Florida at sunset, in their back yard with Dr. Michael Beckwith presiding.  They invited only their closest friends and family to keep it intimate.

Well, that all went to hell in a hand basket when an employee working the wedding told some photog to beat it and they got into a fist fight.  While they duked it out, the cops came, and the ceremony continued during all the chaos.  Wha?!  Okay, I want to see the video.  Can’t you just picture it, the ‘I do’s', the kiss…. the dudes in the background beating the crap out of each other.  Now that’s a Hulk Hogan wedding.

No charges were pressed at the end of it all and it looks like the wedding was a perfect success.  And I am shaking my head and laughing…..

Doug Reinhardt came out the victor in the Fight For Humanity against Jeff Ader on December 10 at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC.  He had given up the booze and his nightlife to train for this event.

Now that he’s done training, he’s back to enjoying his usual club scene, but hey… the guy definitely earned it.  Thank you Doug for taking part in such a worthy cause.  Hopefully this won’t be the last we see of Doug’s “good” side.
