The 33rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors aired on Tuesday night, honoring some very big wig names including: Oprah Winfrey, Sir Paul McCartney, country legend Merle Haggard, Broadway lyricist Jerry Herman and choreographer Bill T. Jones.

One of my faves for the night was Jennifer Hudson singing “I Am Here” from The Color Purple in a tribute to Oprah.  That girl didn’t win American Idol, but who the hell even remembers that she was even on that show?  Girl has won an Oscar for Pete’s sake.

Snooki had big plans for New Year’s Eve and they were supposed to “go down” in Times Square in New York City.  Well girl just got banned.   At least the ball she’s supposed to drop in was banned and so her big drop has been moved to Jersey Shore.

If you want to see the way too tan diva drop on on NYE, then you better head to Seaside Heights.  I don’t know how many people are actually going to show up for this NJ “show” but at least Snooki still gets to be a hamster.  Did I just say that?

Rupert Everett doesn’t hold back on what he thinks of Jennifer Aniston’s film career when interviewed by with BBC Radio 4 discussing that some celebs belong to a club that regardless of how rotten their films are, they keep on being employed:

“If you look and analyze the careers of many, many stars, you’ll find that they’re mostly sustained by the business,” Everett argued. “You’ll find there’s lots of women and lots of men in the business that the powers that be decide are right for their business, and they’ll stand with them for quite a long time.”

“OK, something will go wrong, like Jennifer Aniston will have one too many total flops, but she’s still a member of that club,” Everett continued. “And she will still manage to…like a star forming in the universe, things will swirl around her and it will suddenly solidify into another vital tasteless rom-com, a little glitter next to the Crab Nebula.”

While that may be true, he’s not very bright to be slamming a fellow colleague. It makes him look bitter and insecure because if he has to put others down to get his point across, he comes across like a douche. And Jen isn’t the only one he bashes.  Colin Firth also gets bashed although he throws in a compliment for good measure:

“Colin Firth I don’t think was at all good in Mamma Mia! I would have thought it was almost a careericide,” Everett sniped. “On the other hand, I think his performance in A Single Man was the best performance of his life.”

And to think, Rupert played Prince Charming in Shrek! At least that was a stretch, right?

What’s the best way to get back at an ex that has burned you badly?  Well, when you happen to be a very famous celeb, you air their dirt on Twitter…. it’s the best revenge.

Kelly did just that saying,

“Wow just found something out that has hurt my feelings so bad and christmas was going so well…”

“@Luke_worrall is the biggest piece of s–t,” she continued. “He has been trying to get back w/ me. I only came home for Xmas to see him meanwhile he is f–king 100′s of girls as we[ll] as men behind my back. All he did was use me. All girls beware of @Luke_worrall…”

“What do you do when someone lies in the darkest way and you try to tell the person that was lied 2 but they don’t believe you?”

“I think the best part of this situation is that I have been painted out 2 be the crazy 1 when all I did was tell the honest to gods truth”

So we already knew that Luke was a dog.  Now we know he’s a dog that swings both ways.  Kelly deserves SO much better than that.  I am soooo glad that she found out what a piece of crap he is before they walked down the aisle.

Lily Allen gets to finish off her rough 2010 on a very positive note.  Her boyfriend, Sam Cooper proposed to her on Christmas Day! I don’t think he did it just because every other celebrity couple is doing it either.  These two have been bonded so close together after everything they’ve been through.  I am truly happy for them both.

Sam popped the question in Bali on the balcony of their hotel room as the sun was setting over the Indian Ocean.  Um yeah, that’s completely romantic.  Well done Sam.
