Ted Williams and his “Golden Voice”  bailed on rehab against medical advice yesterday.  He hadn’t even been in the program for two weeks when he left the rehab clinic, TMZ is reporting.

Dr. Phil had Williams on his show and was the inspiration behind checking in, in the first place.  Apparently that didn’t stick with him when it came time to get clean.

Ted left the Origins Recovery Center in South Texas and caught a plane (presumably)  to southern California.  His girlfriend is in rehab at the Safe Harbor facility in Costa Mesa and we have a feeling he wanted to see her.

How sad for Ted.  He was on a great path, getting a second chance at life, and now it looks like he’s throwing it all away… just like that.

Bristol Palin is off the market!  She’s got a new boyfriend, but we don’t know much about him or what he looks like.  He’s 20-years-old and is a pipeline worker from Alaska.  That sounds hot enough….

Bristol made an appearance on KWHL’s The Bob & Mark Show Friday and that’s where she was cornered into spilling the beans on her new love life.

Bristol Palin Offered Radio Co-Hosting Job In Phoenix

The hosts suggested that she answer the love life questions with:

“I’m seeing a guy and he’s really great and Tripp loves him and we’re having a really good time and we’re really good friends.”

Bristol replied,

“Yeah, we can go with that,” said Palin, who recently moved into a new five-bedroom home in Maricopa, Arizona. “I’m thrilled. I love the town that I live in. I love my house. Tripp’s happy; he’s healthy.”

That’s not all either.  Bristol really wants to change Tripp’s last name to Palin and be done with Levi Johnston for good.

“Yeah, I’ve asked Levi to do it many different times, just get it out of the way, just sign over his parental rights, but I don’t know if he will or if he wants to right now,” she said, adding that she’s willing to live without his child-support payments. “I’ve asked him to do that many times – just say, ‘Hey, look, let’s just avoid this custody case that’s been ongoing since Tripp was born just get it over with just sign over your rights.’”

He should sign his rights over.  He’s not at all ready to be a dad and he should open the door for a good guy to be a loving, active father to Tripp.

In a little less than 1/2 hour the Oscar nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards will take place live in Los Angeles (yes, that is 5:30 PT/8:30 ET).

Are you excited to see who is nominated this year? I think some of them will be predictable if The Golden Globes were any indicator: The Social Network, Black Swan, The Fighter.

Who are you hoping wins for best picture, actress and actor?

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are back to mixing business and pleasure. US is reporting exclusively that he has signed on to be her manager again.

Last May Jason stepped down as her manager when they both decided they would rather put the focus on the personal side of things.  The source says:

“Jason will be part of the team handling her career,” “He won’t be the only agent working with her, he will handling acting endeavors, but there will be a big music department also on her account.”

And the reason is that her family trusts him:

“WME is absolutely the best choice for Britney. They are the best at what they do and her team recognize that.”

WME is William Morris Endeavour.

I hope this works out for Britney and Jason!

Doesn’t green liquer sound like a bad idea? Enter Kim Kardashian. She is the new face of Midori and tells People:

“My new favorite color? Green, of course!” “I’m so excited to be the face of Midori Melon Liqueur’s new campaign.”

Can you blame her? Why not grab every freaking endorsement deal that comes your way.  Who needs credibility? Remember those diet pills? Yeah. They didn’t work. Kredit Kard? Not a good idea.

I think at one time I saw her pimping toilet paper in Times Square. Maybe that was a nightmare I was having, I can’t be sure. What won’t  this girl pimp out?

This campaign starts in April and will see her in billboard ads as well as doing personal visits. Hopefully dressed as Gumby.

Jaime Pressly’s life seems to be careening down the crapper at break-neck speeds as of late. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t get off on the misfortunes of others. I feel bad for her. Except the DUI. That’s a different story.

She blew nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol on her DUI. She owes the IRS a lot of money, about $600,000 and now rumour is she is getting divorced from her husband Simran Singh with whom she’s been married since September 26, 2009.

Prior to him she was engaged to Eric Calvo and had a baby with him, Dezi James Calvo, who will be 3 on May 11.

You never know what is somebody’s rock bottom or what causes them to do the things they do, but the DUI thing, especially when she has a child is just too much.

I can understand wanting to drown your sorrows if you get a $600,000 bill from the government (although I’m pretty sure at some point in your life you realized you hadn’t paid taxes in a while), and your marriage breaks up, but to get behind the wheel of a car? No way.
