Kanye West brought back the past he wanted all of us to forget.  The MTV Video Music Awards drama he caused with Taylor Swift is flashing before our eyes once again.

This time Kanye took to his Twitter to “take down” Britney Spears who is number one and he’s at number two.  He Tweeted,

“Yo Britney, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time!”

Then he immediately tweeted the same thing, adding an LOL at the end,

“Yo Britney, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you be #1, but me and Jay-Z single is one of the best songs of all time! LOL”

Brit’s manager responded,

“@kanyewest Thanks for “letting” us be #1. Much appreciated…. -Adam Leber, Manager”

About three hours later, after receiving a lot of heat for it, Kanye started backpedaling,

“On a serious note I’m truly happy for @AvrilLavigne and @BritneySpears… No hate in 2011!”

He finished his “defense” with ,

“I thought LOL signified a joke… I didn’t get the 2011 LOL doesn’t signify a joke anymore memo… LOL or something else I guess”

Well Kanye, LOL works for everyone on the planet, EXCEPT for you.  Keep your I’mas to yourself.   Douche.

Dawn Holland, the employee who was fired from Betty Ford after the “scuffle” with Lindsay has filed a declaration with the D.A. saying,

“I do not desire Ms. Lohan prosecuted for the events of December 12, 2010,” adding, “I will not answer any questions to any policing or prosecutorial agencies regarding the events of December 12, 2010.”

Holland’s lawyer told TMZ that the D.A.’s office notified him that if she filed the document, the case would be dropped.

So, yes.  It sounds like that ridiculous drama will finally come to an end.

Natalie Portman won best actress for Black Swan at last night’s 2011 Critics Choice Awards held in Los Angeles. During her acceptance speech she told director Darren Aaronofsky:

“You are responsible for getting me skinny and indirectly responsible for getting me very fat, as you introduced me to my love.”

Her love of course is Black Swan’s choreographer Benjamin Millepied.

Colin Firth won for best actor in The King’s Speech and best picture went to The Social Network. That seems a bit surprising to me although I’ve not seen it. I would have thought Black Swan or The King’s Speech would have won in that category.

Thank goodness!  Zsa Zsa Gabor finally received the leg amputation surgery yesterday and she survived.  That was a very risky procedure that her husband wasn’t sure she should get.

Zsa Zsa Gabor Suffers Another Health Emergency

The doctors at UCLA medical center removed three quarters of her leg from just above the knee.  She is expected to heal just fine, but since she’s so old, she could still face unexpected complications.

I would expect that Zsa Zsa will remain in the hospital for at least a week if not more.

Owen Wilson and his girlfriend Jade Duell welcomed a baby boy today in Hawaii US Weekly is reporting exclusively. When I heard last week that he was going to be a dad soon I was surprised to learn he even had a girlfriend.

Apparently he has been very excited about becoming a father and very involved with the pregnancy. Did he carry the child? No. So how involved could he possibly get? I’m kidding. I think it’s great when guys get involved in the whole pregnancy child-rearing thing. It’s quite hot actually. Who wants a momma’s boy that makes the woman do everything?

According to the source Owen:

“has been doing research and learning as much as he can,” a source adds. “He’s super into it and asks a lot of questions to make sure he knows what’s going on every step of the way.”

Isn’t  that super sweet? I hope this is the beginning of a new chapter and all his difficulties are in the past. Namely Kate Hudson. HOLLA.
