In case you’re out of the loop, Sarah Palin’s Alaska may be coming to an end.  The main media thought it was not getting renewed because TLC didn’t want it.  Well, it’s actually the exact opposite.  They want a second season badly. The first season gave them huge ratings and they of course don’t want to let go of a cash cow.  Who would?

Anyhow, Sarah Palin has the ball in her court.  If she chooses to sign on for a second season, she’s going to make huge money…. in the millions.  But, if she does it, that is a confirmation that she will not be running for president in 2012.  Wow.  That’s next year. Those freaking campaign commercials are going to be invading my home soon aren’t they? Ugh.

If I was a betting woman…. and I tend to be at times, I’d say that Sarah is going to sign with TLC and opt out of a campaign she knows she’ll lose.

At last night’s 2011 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala, Natalie Portman rocked a barely-there baby bump while Helen Mirren rocked a new short hairdo that looks fabulous on her.  But then again, anything looks fabulous on her.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Affleck (looking a little bit too much like G.I. Joe), soon-to-be-daddy Javier Bardem and the super handsome Aaron Eckhart also attended the star-studded event that took place at Palm Springs Convention Centre.

The new Spiderman himself, Andrew Garfield attended looking, well, like a 12 year old basically. I feel a little dirty lusting after him. Time to take a shower.

In case you haven’t turned a TV or computer on in a couple of weeks, Ted Williams has grabbed the hearts of everyone who learns of him.

He’s known as the man with the golden voice and was discovered on a street corner in Ohio when he, homeless, had a cardboard sign in his hand stating he had a God-given talent with his voice and that he had fallen on hard times:

Since that video, which has 5.5 million views on YouTube, he has reunited with his 90 year old mother whom he hadn’t seen in 20 years as well as two of his children. On top of that he has been deluged with offers of work appearing on The Today Show, Entertainment Tonight and others.

And it keeps getting better. He’s had offers of freen dental work, free legal advise, psychiatrists offering free counseling, free travel from Air Tran and now he’s been offered voice-over work with the NFL  and producers for the BBC, “Opie and Anthony” and “The Colbert Report” are all trying to book him.

The man that discovered him Doral Chenoweth, (Web producer for the Columbus Dispatch) w Entertainment Weekly, “It’s probably easier getting through to Obama [now] than Ted. That speaks volumes, no?

This is one of those stories that bring a tear to your eyes and reminds all of us that we can overcome almost anything. We wish the very best for Ted Williams and his new reunited family! What an awesome story!

Wow! New boobs (actually old boobs as she had her implants removed) and a new baby! Happy freaking New Year to Victoria Beckham and her hubby David. Her rep has confirmed that she is preggers with baby number 4!

It would be nice if they had a little girl, wouldn’t it? Imagine how protected by her big brothers that girl would feel? Imagine the clothes, purses and footwear that girl would have access to over her life?
