Justin Bieber is only 16, but he is most certainly one of the biggest names you hear… on a daily basis. His overnight success is nothing short of record breaking. With the Grammys coming up next month, where you know he’s going to win, Billboard is giving us a glimpse at the facts, at the stats that Bieber has created in his leap into fame.

1. Justin’s debut album, My World, came out just over 1 year ago and since then Justin has gone on to sell over 9 million albums worldwide.
2. Justin was the first artist since The Beatles to have an album debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 with a full week of sales and then have a second week bigger than the first.
3. When Bieber’s “My World 2.0″ arrived atop the Billboard 200 in April, the 16-year-old became the youngest solo male to top the tally since then-13-year-old Stevie Wonder led the Aug. 24, 1963, chart.
4. In just 9 months, Justin has gone from playing for 40 people in a water park in Poughkeepsie to headlining 86 sold out arena shows last year.
5. Justin has the World Record for the most views ever on a music video with “Baby” at over 425 million views. His total video views are over 1 Billion.
6. Justin taught himself to play four musical instruments: guitar, drums, piano, and trumpet, all by the age of 12.
7. My World 2.0 is the first album since ‘N Sync’s “No Strings Attached” in 2000 to spend its first 27 weeks in the Billboard 200’s Top 10.
8. Justin has focused all of his charitable efforts on kids: donating proceeds from all of his sold out concerts to Pencils of Promise, meeting with a Make A Wish child at every concert, and donating proceeds from My Worlds Acoustic to The Children’s Miracle Network.
9. Justin’s debut feature film, Never Say Never, which chronicles his life from childhood musician, to YouTube star, and ultimately International Superstar, will be released by Paramount Pictures on February 11.
