It looks like everything is falling into place because Phoenix Clear Channel’s KMXP’s radio station Mix 96.9 has offered her a salaried on-air position as co-host of their morning show. They aren’t looking for a political commentator so we can all breath a sigh of relief.

It seems that they are quite flexible in that they are willing to work with her schedule to make this happen.  Here is the actual job proposal:

Awww, how cute is that.  Soon-to-be married couple, Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey have been cast on the CBS drama Hawaii Five-0, according to People.

The episode is set to air next month,

Minnillo will play a woman named Susan, engaged to Lachey’s character named Tyler. Minnillo will work as a deckhand on a cruise boat that’s taken hostage by pirates.

I am actually a big fan of this show.  Half of that being that I adore Hawaii, so seeing the great scenery every week gives me a quick fix.  The stories tend to be a bit over the top, but I love the cast.  Scott Caan is delicious and freaking hilarious.  Soooo, if you haven’t checked it out, you should.  It’s by far one of the better new shows this year.

After watching the trailer, this news is really disappointing.  The Kennedys, starring Katie Holmes and Greg Kinnear, has been canned by History Channel.  It was supposed to air in the United States this spring.

“While the film is produced and acted with the highest quality, after viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand,” a network rep tells The Hollywood Reporter.

Sources said the miniseries was criticized by liberal politicians and Kennedy historians based on an early version of the script, so they fixed it.  The cable channel had said the script was changed and approved by network historians, so why did they still drop it?
