Parents around the world are dealing with very grumpy tweens this morning that viewed last night’s People Choice Awards as they saw just how gorgeous and tanned Selena Gomez looked from her fun-in-the-sun vacation with her boyfriend Justin Bieber.

That girl is getting more and more gorgeous by the day. And her shoes! Do you LOVE her shoes? One has to wonder if her security detail was kicked up a few notches from all the death threats the poor girl is receiving.

The People’s Choice Awards kicked off award season last night in Los Angeles with Queen Latifah hosting and an appearance by your favourite vampires Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

It looked like Robert Pattinson wanted to hold Kristen’s hand as they went up stage but she was pretty much ignoring him most of the night. The girl does not like public displays of affection in the least. Poor Robert looked like a fifth wheel in that trio.

Khloe Kardashian rocked red hair last night as the sisters picked up an award for their show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. What do you think of the colour on her?

Last night the 2011 People’s Choice Awards went down in style.  Queen Latifah hosted the night of honors given by millions of fans.  The Twilight Saga: Eclipse cashed in as the top winner for the night with four trophies.

Robert Pattinson was as delicious as ever and Kristen Stewart was as bashful a Bella.  I think she is Bella.  Taylor Lautner was his usual, adorable self.  The Queen completely annoyed them with her over the top “act.”  I was feeling it too.

Anyhow, it was a great night.  Not a lot of performances since there are about a trillion awards to be handed out.  The other highlights were Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman being there.  Love them!

Gwyneth Paltrow visited the Rachel Ray show and dished on her favourite kisser on film was:

“I did a little cameo once at the beginning of Austin Powers 3, I think it was, and I got to make out with Tom Cruise,” Paltrow, 38, tells the host on Friday’s Rachel Ray Show. “He was an amazing kisser!“

And she’s also locked lips (and maybe tongues) with Jude Law and Brad Pitt on film, so that says a lot. I don’t picture Brad Pitt to be a good kisser, but I picture Jude Law to be. Actually I picture Jude Law to be quite the lover. Like a dirty, dirty boy. Isn’t there a sex video of him somewhere on this earth? I bet that would be hot. However for Tombo to be a better kisser than Jude is most impressive.

Gwynnie enjoyed getting into character in her new film Country Song in which she plays an alcoholic singer:

You just get really drunk all the time,” she says. “Which is awesome! At least I did anyway, it’s not very professional. There’s a Bloody Mary at 10 a.m. and keep it going all day!”

That’s kind of like blogging but without having to shower so as to be presentable. And according to Gwynnie it’s quite the departure from her everyday waking life:

“It was actually very liberating and amazing to play somebody who just didn’t think about consequences because I’m so responsible with my life, and too worried about everybody and my kids and where’s everybody going,”

Regular consumption of alcohol cures that. If this biotch goes on a concert tour I’m going to start consuming mass quantities of alcohol.

These two will reunite on January 15 when Paltrow hosts Saturday Night Live and Cee Lo performs.

I can’t wait to see Country Strong.  I think she hits this role out of the park, but I will get back to you once I have seen the entire film.  Kudos to Gywneth for reaching outside of her comfort zone.

Could someone explain this one to me?  I don’t see snow… and yes, this is Los Angeles.  But, why on earth is Vanessa Hudgens bundled up for a blizzard wearing a fur rimmed coat and Uggs.  Sure, it gets chilly, but that’s a bit much for sunny California and a chiropractic appointment…..

Health freak, Montel Williams was busted at the airport in Milwaukee yesterday.  Police reported that TSA agents discovered a marijuana pipe in his carry-on bag as he went through security.

Montel admittedly lights up to manage pain related to multiple sclerosis.  He’s not a pot head, just rolling with the medical usage.

He was released after paying a $484 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia in the airport.  It seems like he would have a license to pack it if he’s using it for medical reasons though, right?
