So tonight at the Grammys, you won’t see Ke$ha up for any awards.  She was “snubbed”… but was she really?  Is she Grammy material? I say no.  Not yet at least.  She’s pretty dang rough around the edges still.  I know that a lot of big artists are on the “offensive” side, but they also have a way of carrying themselves that let them get away with it.  Ke$ha is not there yet.  She has some more learning and growing to do.

But surprisingly, she’s not bitching about the snub.  She told Vanity Fair,

“It’s not that big a deal.  I was disappointed that I didn’t get nominated, but I’ve only been around for a year.  I plan on making a lot more records, and hopefully one of them will be Grammy worthy,” the singer says. “I’m friends with the Black Keys, and they were nominated for the first time this year. And they’ve been around for a decade. That’s like half my life. So I really can’t be a brat about it.”

But don’t worry Tik Tok fans, she’s not going to change her image to earn votes,

“When you’re around me, you’re going to get glitter on you. It infuriates a lot of people who hang out with me,” the singer says. “They get glitter on themselves and it won’t come off for days and it ruins their game. But I think it’s incredible.”
