This weekend also saw the 2011 BAFTA Awards being handed out in London, England where the red carpet was a sea of bright colours and your staple black.

Thandie Newton’s dress is so beautiful and feminine and pink! I’m not a huge fan of the colour pink but it really is quite lovely. Colin Firth’s wife looks stunning in her blue satin gown. The colour is so deep and rich.

Gerard Butler went curly on the red carpet. His hair is getting long and looks like he just got out of bed. After a good romp. Did I mention Happy Valentine’s Day?

Gemma Arterton wore basic black but wrapped herself up in a bow in the colour blue.

When some of the gowns are quite lovely I try to include shots from different angles so don’t think I’ve completely gone and lost my mind. Yet. Enjoy the photos.
