John Galliano Suspended From Dior Amid Anti-Semitic Slurs

Fashion icon John Galliano has been suspended from Dior after he was arrested by police for allegedly pulling a Mel Gibson and hurling anti-Semitic insults at a couple in Paris.
Apparently he was at a bar in the Marais district when he allegedly began his verbal assault in two unsuspecting strangers.
He was taken into police custody and given a sobriety test where his blood alcohol level was at twice the legal driving limit. Sidney Toledano, chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture said in a statement:
“Christian Dior has an unequivocal zero-tolerance policy regarding anti-Semitism and racism,”
Galliano is currently suspended pending the police investigation. Charges were not filed against the 50 year old fashion icon who is scheduled to show Dior’s autumn/winter collection next week and his own collection, John Galliano on March 6.
His lawyer, Stéphane Zerbib, released his own statement: There was never the slightest comment of a racist or anti-Semitic connotation.
