Paul Giamatti and Amy Adams might just be on their way to something new.  They are the latest names getting tossed into the ring for Adam Shankman’s Rock of Ages.

Tom Cruise Lands ‘Rock of Ages’

Based on the hit Broadway musical, the story centers on two people who meet at the Sunset Strip club “Rock of Ages” and fall for one another against the backdrop of ’80s rock anthems.

Rock of Ages is set to go into production soon, with a June 1, 2012 release.  I have a few friends who will be thrilled at this news.  How about you?  Are there any names you’d rather see in there?
