While I have never personally seen Ewan McGregor’s nude scenes (which is CRAZY if you think about it because the dude has been nude in four films: ”Trainspotting,” “The Pillow Book,” “Velvet Goldmine” and “Young Adam), I am all for men swinging their junk around on the big screen. But that’s only because for YEARS we have only seen women naked in film and I’m all for equal opportunities.

But sadly, Ewan McGregor is DONE with nude scenes in film. For real. I would never lie about such horrific news:

“I’m getting older and the actresses stay younger,” he told the paper. “I don’t want to become Clint Eastwood, where his love interests seem 50 years younger than him. You never want female co-stars to feel like you’re taking advantage of the situation. Anyhow, sex scenes are terribly exposing and rarely of any use in learning about character.”

Wow. That’s very classy of him to not want female co-stars to feel like they are being taken advantage of. However  I think that you can thank the pervy producers for the sex scene set up.

I agree with Ewan: it’s rarely of any use. I don’t buy this crap that ‘it was integral to tell the story’. Bitch, please. Since when do you learn more about a person because they strut around nude? Sure if the movie is about an orgy, then I can see why the nudity works, but otherwise it always seems to me to be gratuitous.

I just think the people behind the making of such films do it for their own jerking off material. Last year he talked to ‘Out Magazine’ where he talked about what it was like on the film set of the movie ‘The Pillow Book’:

“There’s tons of sex in that film. We didn’t even bother putting clothes on between scenes,” he said. “I had quite a full-on sex scene with a 75-year-old Japanese guy. We’re kissing, and I remember going, He’s got a mustache and that’s kind of weird. Oh! That’s definitely a scrotum. That’s odd.”

I’m definitely going to rent that movie! So while we mourn the fact that Ewan McGregor is DONE with nude scenes *sniff sniff* he hasn’t rule out ‘romance’:

“I’m always interested in playing different people, in different situations. It doesn’t matter to me whether someone is in love with a man or a woman. I find the idea of love and romance interesting. I’m a sucker for it. I like playing someone who’s falling in love because I like the sensation of it.”

Don’t shoot the messenger Bieber haters. Justin Bieber has passed Michael Jackson’s box-office record. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ has earned more at the box office domestically than the posthumus Michael Jackson movie ‘This Is It’:

Through Sunday, Justin Bieber had earned $72.2 million at the domestic box office. Sony’s This Is It grossed $72.1 million domestically.

Keep in mind, Justin Bieber has passed Michael Jackson in the domestic markets. Not so in the overseas department. Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ has earned $189.1 million overseas. Internationally Justin Beiber has earned $10.8 million which they say is still a good amount considering concert video movies don’t usually do well at the box office.

Ask the Jonas Brothers. Their film made $4 million internationally. I’m sure you and I would love to make $4 million internationally (or domestically for that matter) but that’s petty cash to people who earn millions a year.

Last week a 29 year old Polish man who goes by the name Grzegorz Matlock was arrested in connection with a break-in at Madonna’s London residence. Luckily the singer and her children had been out of the country attending the funeral of her 99 year old grandmother in Michigan.

London police have charged the man with burglary for the incident which occurred over the weekend and he is scheduled to appear in Westminster Magistrates Court. The perpetrator had previously been dealt with by Madonna’s personal security team for stalking.

He had driven all the way from his home in Poland to perpetrate his crime. According to statements from Madonna’s security personnel, who had been present at her $16 million dollar townhouse at the time of the incident, the perpetrator apparently scaled a wall, smashed a window, and entered the premises after attempts to ring the door bell proved unsuccessful. Security personnel found the man in Madonna’s bedroom rifling through her personal belongings. Allegedly the man believes to be in an intimate relationship to Madonna, bringing his mental health into question.

This is not the first time Madonna has been targeted by a stalker. Last year a stalker was arrested outside of her New York residence after carving the words, “Meet Me” into his chest using an ice pick. In another incident a man carrying two knives was arrested outside of her Manhattan residence.

In 1996 a man was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison for felony stalking after he had scaled the walls of her home in Hollywood Hills. During the incident her personal bodyguards had to shoot the man to ensure the superstar’s protection.

In a press release from Sun, a senior police source commented:

Something dreadful has happened here. The security around the world’s most famous pop start should be impregnable.”

You can’t be serious.  Yes, I am serious.  This new ‘episode’ of insanity went down on Thursday according to TMZ.  Mike Darnell, President of Alternative Entertainment for FOX, David Hill, President of FOX Sports, and Peter Rice, Chariman of Entertainment for FOX Networks Group all met with Charlie Sheen to discuss things.

No, no, no.  LeAnn Rimes isn’t quitting the biz.  She’s collectively quitting the very long “war” between Brandi Glanville and herself.  She did this via her Twitter page (how else, right?):

“As a collective unit, Brandi and I would like all negativity to cease toward one another.  We have communicated and have a direct understanding that we are only ourselves on Twitter and have no other accounts that try to destroy one another.  Please for our families’ sake stop the hate now and let us live our lives,” the singer added. “We don’t need opinions or outside help in order for that to happen.”

After that, Brandi retweeted this statement, which yes, almost legally solidifies the whole thing.  Honestly, I am so glad.  I think that this feud has gone on long enough.  It’s time for everyone to move on.
