Simon Cowell has reportedly offered Enrique the host’s position on the upcoming USA version of X Factor.  We are still waiting on the announcement of who will be on the judge’s panel.  But knowing the he’s going to host would suit me just fine.

It was expected that Maksim Chmerkovskiy would be butting heads with his new partner on Dancing With the Stars, but he and Kirstie Alley seem to be working really well together.

Kirstie wants this all done just right and when Maks tells her there’s not time for that she says,

“Okay, we’ll stay later!” says Maksim. “She just loves the idea, she loves the movement, shedding off weight, losing a lot.”

I knew she’d go into this with a strong head.  She’s a tough broad and I actually have a lot of faith in her capabilities on this new mission in her life.

It looks like things are taking a turn for the better in the Cyrus family.  Miley’s daddy, Billy Ray Cyrus taped an episode of The View and announced,

“I’ve dropped the divorce.  I want to put my family back together … Things are the best they’ve ever been.  I feel like I got my Miley back in a way.  I feel like we are the daddy and daughter that we were before Hannah Montana happened.”

He still believes that fame sort of ripped their family up, but he’s no longer blaming Hannah Montana completely for their troubles.  He was famous first you know.

Anyhow, I think that is great news.  I hate divorce.  It should only be reserved for the spouses who married monsters. Other than that, you need to fight to make it work.

Warner Bros. Pictures has confirmed that Kevin Costner is going to play Jonathan Kent in the new Superman movie.  I love it! Kevin is perfect for this!

The film will be directed by Zack Snyder who stated,

“Jonathan Kent is the only father figure Clark has ever had, the man who was there to help Clark understand what he was meant to do in the world as Superman. Kevin will be able to communicate the quiet strength of this rural American man who raised the greatest super hero of all time.”
