Rob Lowe and his finely chiseled manly chesticles grace the cover of the May 2011 Vanity Fair magazine. Rob Lowe shared some of  his upcoming autobiography Stories I Only Tell My Friends: An Autobiography with VF and talked about what it was like growing up next to Charlie Sheen and his family:

“At my house we are still saving money by not buying desserts,” Lowe says, comparing his life to that of the Sheens, who lived nearby. “At Charlie’s house, it’s never-ending Häagen-Dazs, brand-new BMWs, a lagoon pool with underwater tunnels, and a lit, professional-grade basketball half-court.”

He also talks about the early days with Patrick Swayze, and Tom Cruise. You can read all about it at Vanity Fair. I personally am just going to drool a little bit more at this picture.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have a new family member. This one is a little hairier than the other members of the family. It’s their new baby goat Juliet. Juliet made her debut at the opening of Tori’s new boutique InvenTORI in Los Angeles yesterday. She tweeted earlier in the day:

It’s still hard to believe that Elizabeth Taylor is gone, isn’t it? And even if you have the purest of hearts, you have to wonder what is going to happen to all of the gems that she had.

The collection in total is estimated to be worth over $150 million and apparently is going to be auctioned off at Christie’s Auction House. Christie’s declined to comment and there is no word on what pieces will and won’t be auctioned off.

Part of that collection is the famous Krupp diamond that Richard Burton gave her. That baby weighs in at 33.91 karats! Oh to be a multi-millionaire when that beautiful rock goes up at Christie’s.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor became quite an expert at gems according to President and CEO of Luxury Jewels of Beverly Hills Peter Sedghi:

“She had the most amazing eye,” “To be honest, she knew more than I did [about jewelry]. When you would show her stones, she would tell you the origin, if it’s good quality, bad quality, where it came from.”

Lorraine Schwartz (friend and jeweler) says that Elizabeth was always receiving pieces of jewelery and not just from husbands:

“The studios, in order to make her happy, they’d always give her jewelry. So she grew up collecting it,” she explains. “People always gave her gifts … it was something that she learned to love.” And she took great care of them, too. “She [had] collections and collections, and rooms. She [knew] where every single piece was. [It was] amazing.”

Can you imagine what it would look like to see every piece together at one time?

One of my most favorite man candy items would be Matthew McConaughey.  He is always so very nice to look at and well, that voice of his gets me every time.  What is NOT to love about this man?  Since becoming a father, he’s become even more edible.  Mmmm, makes me smile.  And for that I thank him.

Beyoncé has finally moved on from her dad, Mathew Knowles.  He’s been her manager since her career began with Destiny’s Child.

Her publicist gave a statement to The Associated Press revealing that they have split “on a business level.” But have no worries, they are not at odds or hating each other.

Beyonce said,

“He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly.”

They didn’t however reveal who will be her new manager.  I would guess it’s not family.  She’s probably going with someone strictly for the business aspect.
