Vanessa Hudgens is still considered to be single after her split from Zac Efron even though they keep getting caught together. Anyhow, she’s in a new movie, Beastly.  The movie opens in theaters today, so you have to go check it out.

Vanessa plays Lindy in the modern day take on Beauty and the Beast opposite Alex Pettyfer.

Q: Lindy is a real nonconformist. What about you?
I think everyone should do what they do to make themselves happy. I know that’s what I live by. You have to love yourself to love others.

Q: How did you react when you first saw Alex in his ghoulish makeup?
It was a shock. I think my heart dropped to my big toe! When you strip a person of their looks, their whole demeanor changes. It made it that much more interesting to act.

Q: Would you date an ugly guy?
I dated the smallest and skinniest kid in sixth grade. I like the dorks. I know some guys that are more vain than girls, especially in this business. It’s annoying.

Q: Does that describe Zac?
Zac’s a good guy!

Q: What’s it like now that High School Musical is over?
I miss the whole cast! That movie is the epitome of my childhood. The first movie, we were all just kids running around singing and dancing and having the time of our lives. As soon as it finished, I feel like I became an adult. Now we’re all grown up and have responsibilities. But I think we’re going to try to have a reunion really soon.

Q: You’ve given up music to focus on acting. How much pressure is that?
I feel like I’m starting all over again in a sense. It’s superexciting. I love it!

Do you like Vanessa more as an actress or singer?  Or you don’t care because she’s just that hot?  Will you be watching Beastly?

Melissa Gilbert from Little House on the Prairie is calling it quits.  She’s separated from her husband, Bruce Boxleitner after 16 years of marriage.  They have one 15-year-old son together, Michael.

“Bruce wasn’t ready to announce to the world that they had separated.  And was surprised when he saw that her people had confirmed what he considered to be a very private and personal matter.”

“We have loved each other for a very long time and we share four incredible sons together,” Gilbert said through her spokesperson. “On behalf of our family we ask to be allowed our privacy during this very difficult time.”

I always hate seeing these longer marriages end.  All divorce sucks, but when there are kids involved and that many years, it’s so much more traumatic.

I remember watching Melissa when I was young on the show, she was my favorite.

Lindsay Lohan issued a statement to Radar Online and, in essence, she wants her dad to shut his pie-hole:

“I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team. ”I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging.”

Methinks it could get worse because Michael is going to be on this season’s Celebrity Rehab so who knows what drama he will be cooking up?

Both he and Dina Lohan need to shut their pie-hole and stop talking about their kids. Who’s kidding who, stop talking about Lindsay.

Well girl, I think America is more anxious to see you get your feet back on the ground and clean up a bit.  Perhaps it’s time to dump the dumb ass guy who is dragging you into the pit you are now sitting in.  Matthew Rutler is a very obvious issue for her. I hope she wises up before she starts burning bridges.

I am pretty sure that her son, Max would love to have his mommy back.

Lady Gaga made a huge impression on the catwalk in Paris, France on Wednesday for Mulger’s Fashion Week show.  And she did it not only with her fashion… she did it with her new song, Government Hooker off of her upcoming, much anticipated album, Born This Way.

Gaga told MTV that this one is one of her favorites off the album and that,

“We double-timed the beat. It’s a super fast, really hard record, and the lyrics are really filthy,” she added. “It’s also empowering, but more in the direction of sexual female empowerment.”

I’ve already got it stuck in my head and I am anxious to actually hear the entire song. I definitely like it a LOT better than Born This Way, when I hear that I think of Madonna. When I listen to Government Hooker, I think Gaga.  That’s how I like it.
