Bristol Palin has been out of the headlines for several weeks now, so it’s time to bring her back.  She’s going to make more waves in the news with her upcoming memoir, Not Afraid of Life.

It’s being released this summer by William Morrow, which is a branch of HarperCollins. This just happens to be the same publishing house that did her mom Sarah Palin’s books.

Bristol Palin Has a New Boyfriend

Obviously the crowd that will be reading Bristol’s book will be unlike that of her mother’s.  Despite the ugly media shadow that follows Bristol, she has a very positive, young audience that eats up everything she says.  So, yeah.  This book will likely be a best seller.

“Bristol gives readers an intimate behind-the-scenes look at her life for the first time, from growing up in Alaska to coming of age amid the media and political frenzy surrounding her mother’s political rise; from becoming a single mother while still a teenager to coping as her relationship with her baby’s father crumbled publicly — not once, but twice,” according to Morrow.

She’s also going to give us some insight on her Dancing with the Stars experience, “including the aching hours of practice, the biting criticisms, and the thrill of getting to the show’s finals.”

I am actually interested to hear what she’s got to say without any media involved. Just a bit of black and white truth about this young girl who I believe got thrown into the lion’s den just because of who her mother is.  I hope the critics give this one a chance to breathe.

Is that an argument you would get in-between? According to ShowbizSpy, Gerard Butler was at dinner with Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry when the conversation took a turn to the dirty and you KNOW Gerard started that argument.

It began with Mr. G stating that Frenchmen lack in the bedroom department when the three were at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont. I hadn’t heard that rumour but then again this is Gerard making that (alleged) statement, so all things being considered equal, he probably has a *ahem* point.

According to a source:

“Gerard began mucking around, bragging about Scotsmen and the size of their packages. He was joking that he could wear kilts and no undies because he was a ‘real man’, and that other Europeans wouldn’t be able to pull a kilt off.

“As the conversation continued, he got more lewd — and funny — but Olivier got less and less impressed. After one gag too many at his expense, he stood up and confronted Gerry.

“Olivier was red in the face and gesticulating wildly. So Halle told them both to lighten up.”

THAT’S what she said? How about ‘let’s see some empirical evidence?’ I’m not sure I believe this story. I don’t know what publication this source spoke to (I don’t know if it’s Showbiz Spy or what), but I’m calling bullsh*t on this story. Unfortunately.

Unless of course this is true and this is Gerard’s dirty-boy way of trying to get Halle interested in him. You know, dangle the berries bait.

Lindsay Lohan has broken her silence since she left rehab in this interview preview tells Extra TV:

“I feel great,” she said. “As long as I’m focusing on the one thing that I know I need to put forth in my life, which is you know, my recovery and stuff. Then I’m doing good and that’s most important for me.

She isn’t clueless and realizes that she needs to work hard to reestablish herself:

I think that will be something I’ll be able to say when I’ve taken the steps that I need to take to prove I can be insurable again,” she said. “I think that will come in time when I’ll even be in the position to say that. Because I don’t think I am right now.”

At least she’s realistic and isn’t looking for an easy out. I give her credit for that. Let’s hope that she is able to avoid jail in this necklace case and perhaps then she can prove her critics wrong.

Lindsay Lohan has been protesting her innocence since this whole alleged necklace stealing incident took place and a lot of people were calling her out on it. Well TMZ is reporting that the surveillance tape backs up her claims of innocence in a very big way.

In the tape it is very obvious she isn’t trying to steal it because she tries the necklace on, asks her assistant and the store owner how it looks, strolls around the jewelery store for a bit with it still on and even talks to the owner a bit before casually strolling out. As TMZ states that’s hardly the actions of someone trying to steal it.
