New York City Hotels Don’t Want Charlie Sheen

New York City Hotels Don't Want Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen’s Violent Torpedo of Truth tour may have sold out in mere minutes, but he’s having a tough time getting accommodations in New York City for the April 8th show. Word is that hotels don’t want Charlie Sheen staying in them because of his escapades at The Plaza hotel in October, not to mention his erratic behaviour of late.

Although the hotels declined to comment, the rumour is that Trump’s Soho Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria don’t want him there. According to a source:

“Many of the big New York hotels don’t want the drama. He is now looking at renting a private residence.”

However another source says the drama isn’t the reason Charlie can’t find a hotel, it’s more because of his lifestyle:

“The real issue is finding him a hotel that allows smoking. He has to be able to smoke. ”And it’s hard to find a place that will accommodate him, plus his entourage that will be more than 30, including the lighting people and of course the goddesses.”

‘And of course the goddesses’. That cracks me up. Doesn’t he have any loyal friends in New York he can stay with?

Willie Nelson Receieves Celebrity Justice

And I LOVE it!  Willie Nelson was busted for pot possession back in November after the Border Patrol in Texas found weed on his tour bus.

Everyone knows that Willie is a fun loving, pot head.  He’s harmless.  So I was going to be pretty upset if he was actually sentenced to anything legitimate.

Willie Nelson Has Been Charged in Weed Arrest

TMZ is now reporting that the prosecutor in the case is willing to let Willie off with a $100 fine, but only if he sings “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” inside the courtroom.  Yes, this is for real.  I think it’s awesome!

The performance would count as his community service.  I would assume that Willie would take that offer.  Why not?  Just smoke a joint and let it rip!

Ne-Yo is the latest celebrity to step up and help Japan. He has designed a T-shirt and poster to help raise funds. The “Spread Love with Music” items are available online for $25 with 100% of the proceeds going to Japan relief efforts.

Ne-Yo Done Pissed Off Snooki, So She Deleted Him

Ne-Yo posted a message on his site,

“The recent Japan earthquake and tsunami is yesterday’s news to some, but is near and dear to Ne-Yo and our Compound family. It is important to us to help ensure that the devastated areas in Japan are cared for. We hope you will join us in our support efforts by purchasing your collectible ‘Spread Love with Music’ T-shirt and poster today.”

Ne-Yo also had a message for all of his negative critics out there who have been bashing him.  He Tweeted,

“Me n’ my harline just raised 100k for japan, what did you do today? Tweeted about me, Highlight of your day. Got it. Get a hobby.”

All I know is that I appreciate every effort that each person has put into helping the people of Japan.  They need more help and aid than we will ever comprehend.  I hope and pray more people step up like Ne-Yo has.

Glee: Lea Michele Gets in Crazy Car Accident

Glee star, Lea Michele got in a pretty crazy car accident early Friday morning, Us Weekly has reported.  She was on her way home from work when someone crashed into her on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

Glee’s Lea Michele Covering Cosmo = Annoying New Controversy

“A couple of drunk girls hit her, got out of the car, giggled that she was famous, said something like ‘are you drunk, too?’ Then they drove off,” said a source.

Thankfully Lea was okay.

“Lea was hit and notified the police,” says the 24-year-old’s rep. “She was not injured and is fine.”

And would you believe this isn’t her first Hollywood crash?

“For my second audition I got into a massive car wreck, left my crashed car in the street and ran into the audition with cuts and glass in my hair,” she said. “And then on the final audition, I had the worst neck ache from the car accident.”

I still can’t believe those girls did that to her.  Who crashes, gets out, mocks the “victim” then drives away?  That is so very bizarre to me.

Dancing With The Stars Season 12 Week 2 RECAP

dwts chris jericho and cheryl burke

Sugar Ray Leonard & Anna Trebunskaya –  The Jive – He seemed to run out of steam during the kicks but he had some great moves. Although this is not a strong dance for him in this competition! Scores 6/5/6  – 17

Kendra Wilkinson & Louis Van Amstel –  Quick Step – She looked beautiful in the dress. She still lacks confidence and she shouldn’t. Her posture was good and she seemed to have all the moves (although Bruno disagrees) but she looked like she needed to breathe.  I really hope  she  finds the confidence  she  needs  for this.  Scores 7/6/6 – 19

Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas – The Jive – Amazing performance. Very  sharp. However it didn’t seem to be very ‘jive like’. They really did take a huge risk, considering Len is one of the judges. It was very good but it didn’t make the judges happy. Except for Bruno of course. Scores  6/5/7  – 18

Chris Jericho & Cheryl Burke –  Quick Step -  Sometimes  it’s very difficult to get past his gorgeous smile and face. But I try. Not a lot, but I try. I was most impressed when they first started and I continued to be impressed. Clearly Cheryl put the fear of God in to him and it worked. He was quite elegant. Scores 8/7/8 – 23

Petra Nemcova and Dimitry Chaplin –  The Jive – I love Petra. I think she is a class act in every sense of the word, both inside and outside. And she doesn’t give up. She tries so very hard. Her torso  made me want to drop down and do some  stomach crunches. But I had just had some ice cream and like not eating and swimming right away, I don’t think ice cream and crunches go together. Scores  6/6/6 – 18

Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy – Quick Step – I really look forward to the behind-the-scenes on these two as well as their dance. I love the chemistry between them. She seemed to lose her footing a bit and was laughing. How can you not love her? I loved the kiss at the end. She is totally the season’s favourite. The crowd was still standing and clapping while Carrie Ann Inaba was speaking.  Scores 7/6/7 – 20

Mike Catherwood & Lacey Schwimmer –  The Jive – My first thought is the guitar at the beginning is going to piss Len off. My second thought is Lacey’s outfit is super sexy and no one could rock it like her! He’s a bit stiff, but I think still pretty good. The Jive is a difficult dance. I never noticed their chemistry until tonight. And the dance made Len smile. Scores – 6/5/6 – 17

Romeo & Chelsie Hightower – Quick Step –I think he and Chelsie did well tonight. Their moves toward the end of the routine were amazing. I like him and I love watching their rehearsing video beforehand. They got a standing ovation. Len thought it was the best dance of the night. For Len to think that, you know technically it must be sound because he’s a stickler for that kind of stuff. Scores – 7/8/8 – 23

Wendy Williams and Tony Dovolani –   Quick Step – Women do enough laundry in life, we don’t need to incorporate it into dance routines for goodness’ sake. I think Wendy was much less self-conscious than last week. She did great from what I can tell. Scores 6/5/6 – 17

Ralph Macchio & Karina Smirnoff –  The Jive – With how amazingly well he did last week, it was only natural to look forward to this week. No pressure, right? I think he surpassed even last week. Omg the speed and tightness of his steps was incredible. I can’t believe Len thought it was too much. Bruno thought it was a little frenetic too. Sometimes there is just no pleasing people, right? Obviously to those of us without training will not see all of the missteps, but I thought he did amazing! Scores 7/7/7 – 21.

Hines Ward and Kym Johnson –  Quick Step – They looked quite dapper tonight. I thought they did really well. That can’t be easy to do whether you have injuries or not, so my hat’s off to him for being able to do that despite all of his injuries. This dance made Bruno quite happy. The judges were very happy with his technique, moves, and timing. Scores – 8/7/8 – 23. They are going into elimination with the highest score.

To vote online go here.

This week’s scores are combined with last week, but as you and I know, even the best scores don’t mean anything. Did you vote? Who are you hoping to win? Who do you think will be eliminated tomorrow night?
