With the rather sordid news about Dr. Phil backstabbing Oprah, he was due for something positive and his son, Jay McGraw gave him just what he needed to hear.

Jay and his wife Erica are expecting their second child. Their daughter Avery Elizabeth (1) is going to be a big sister!

“Robin and I are thrilled Jay and Erica are expecting again,” Dr Phil tells PEOPLE, “and the due date is my birthday – Sep. 1. Avery has been getting us into tiptop babysitting shape.”

So there is going to be another McGraw in the family.  Very cute.   Congrats to the happy, growing family!
