Nicole Scherzinger Performs Zeppelin’s ‘Black Dog’ With Jason Bonham For 2011 NBA Playoff Opening

The very sexy former Pussycat Doll and Dancing With The Stars’ disco-ball trophy winner, Nicole Scherzinger got together with Jason Bonham (and yes, he is the son of the legendary John Bonham who was Zeppelin’s drum player) and performed Led Zeppelin’s iconic ‘Black Dog‘ as a special open to the 2011 NBA Playoffs on ESPN and ABC and she can pull it off. Of course it’s not Led Zeppelin, but it’s Nicole and it WORKS!
The 32 year old beauty had some pretty nice things to say about Jason:
“It was an honor to join Jason Bonham on the iconic Led Zeppelin song “Black Dog,’” Nicole commented. “I am excited that fans will be able to see the video during the NBA Playoffs.”
Jason returned the compliments:
“Working with Nicole for the NBA Playoffs spot was amazing. She is the real deal,” said Bonham. “Not only is she one of the most beautiful people I have ever met, but she has a fantastic and powerful voice. She has a great rock voice and it worked out fantastic for ‘Black Dog.’ I was so pleased to be able to bring this song to such a huge sporting event.”
We will be getting to hear more of Nicole and her pipes when she releases her solo album Killer Love, on Interscope/A&M this summer. Her chart-topping releases Poison” and the #1 single “Don’t Hold Your Breath will be included in Killer Love. I can hardly wait!
