Rumours surfaced this week that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were getting married this weekend and those rumours were actually accurate. LeAnn’s spokesman Rhett Usry confirmed the news to People:

“LeAnn and Eddie were happily married today surrounded by their closest family and friends “They thank everyone for their well wishes.”

LeAnn, 28,  exchanged vows with Eddie, 37, in a Reem Acra gown in front of 40 close family and friends. Eddie’s two children from his marriage to Brandi Glanville, Mason, 7, and Jake, 4, were at the wedding.

The couple tricked their friends into believing it was an engagement party and surprised them with a wedding. My husband I did the same thing (although no families were broken up in the process..hehehe).

Seriously if being together makes them happy so be it. People get down on these two, but conveniently don’t about Brangelina or Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott. Which makes no sense. Sure they hurt people and that is beyond wrong, but they’ve owned up to their mistakes as opposed to denying it. As well if they weren’t in love with the people they were with before they met, those people deserved better.

It’s time for everyone to move on and let them have their life.

Lindsay Lohan’s Friday is anything but Good. She appeared before Judge Stephanie Lautner today in the stealing of the necklace case and although she caught a huge break when the judge reduced the charge from a felony to a misdemeanor, she did rule that Lindsay violated her probation and sentenced to her 120 days in jail.

She still has to be sentenced to the charge of stealing the necklace. The 120 days is only because of probation violation. In addition to that, Lindsay has been ordered to do 480 hours of community service and it’s broken down like this: 360 of the hours to be done at a downtown women’s shelter and the balance at the morgue.

The reason behind the bulk of it being at a woman’s shelter is to demonstrate to Lindsay just how bad some women really do have it. And as for the morgue? That’s kind of obvious.

According to TMZ, after viewing the in-store video surveillance, Judge Sautner agreed with Danette Meyers that Lindsay’s friend, Patrick was trying to distract the store clerk so that Lindsay could steal the necklace:

Judge Sautner explained that Lindsay should have called the store and notified the owners about the necklace sooner.  She waited several weeks and returned the necklace after finding out the cops were about to raid her house.

As we speak, Lindsay is in the courthouse basement being booked but she will be entitled to parole as her lawyer is going to appeal the ruling.

Are you surprised that Lindsay was sentenced to 120 days in jail today? I bet she is.

Just call him Mr. Smartie Hunky Pants.  At least that is what I call him when I…um, never mind.  My future baby daddy oh my James Franco is not messing around!  Sure he looked stoned out of his mind in February during his co-hosting gig at the 83^rd Academy Awards, but when it comes to education, Franco is serious.

The University of Houston, one of the more prominent schools for its creative writing program, has confirmed that they have accepted Mr. Franco into their doctoral program in literature and creative writing.  James Kastely, program director, said that Franco will enroll in September of 2012.  While this may not seem like a big deal, Kastely made it a point to say that only 20 students are chosen for the program every year.  Considering that over 400 applicants apply every year, Franco could make this a Kanye West moment if he so chooses.

However, it appears as if the 127 Hours actor is keeping it on the hush hush.  His publicist has not responded to the news with a confirmation or denial.

Hmm, I wonder if they have selected their top twenty already?
