No this isn’t a joke.  It’s not a publicity stunt.  It’s legit.  Charlie Sheen’s most “popular” catch phrases are soon going to be trademarked.

This company, Hyro-gliff has filed applications to trademark phrases including “duh, winning,” “tiger blood” and “rock star from Mars” as well as his titled show,  ‘Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option.’

Sad but true folks.  Unfortunately, this sick world we live in is enabling Charlie Sheen to further himself into the crazy hole he is now residing in.  “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em” is coming to mind right about now.  Yes, it’s come to that.

Gwen Stefani is one of my most favorite girls ever.  She is so cool, so funky, so herself.  She’s da bomb!  Ha!  Yes, I just said that, but it’s the truth.  Gwen is amazing.  She an incredible performer that has been at it for years and has never worn out.  Her style is better now than ever and she’s one amazing mom.

The Latest No Doubt Baby Has Arrived!

Gwen is one of the ladies featured in the May issue of Elle and she looks amazing!

On performing while pregnant: “It was horrible. Certain songs would make me want to puke. You feel pretty gross when you are first pregnant. You don’t feel cute, you feel disgusting. On whether Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Katy Perry have taken a page out of her playbook when it comes to style: “Really? I don’t see myself in those girls. I usually put pants on. I see these girls as more going for the sex-symbol thing. I was more, in the band, like a tomboy. Of course, I think every girl is sexy, so there’s going to be a little of that. But I see a lot of younger artists going more toward the sexy thing.”

First it was Katie Couric, now Meredith Vieira?  The ladies of network television are making moves!  Katie won’t be dropping off the face of television though.  But for Meredith, that is what this is sounding like.

Katie Couric Has Already Been Replaced

She is reportedly pretty beat from the early morning shifts and her husband’s health is taking it’s toll on her for sure.  He suffers from multiple sclerosis and Meredith needs to be there for him a lot more than she is able to be while doing the Today show.

The reports are saying that she is expected to retire when her contract is up later this year.

Kind of crazy though since it is Katie that she replaced and now she is leaving too.  I enjoy her so much and will be sad to see her go.

Chris Noth and Jason Patric seemed intent on letting all of us know that they don’t wear anything under their kilts at last night’s 9^th Annual Dress To Kilt Charity Fashion Show in New York. Those pictures I’ve saved for after the break as they are NSFW or for your morning appetite.

Chris and Patric long with That Champtionship Season’s costars Kiefer Sutherland, Jim Gaffigan and Brian Cox strutted their stuff at the fashion fundraiser and as they were leaving the runway decided to all bend over. Chris and Patric shared the view of their asses with the crowd with Chris giving an extra view just before he disappeared backstage. I’m all for seeing a man’s junk, but men bent over like that don’t really do it for me. I think a woman in that position looks much lovelier than a man. What do you think?

However Marcus Shenkenberg and his perfectly chiseled chest gets the main photo today. Now that is a hot piece of man candy if ever I saw one. Happy Hump Day.

Lauren Conrad has been done with The Hills for quite awhile now.  But she’s done anything but slow down with the rest of her career.  She’s been very focused on her fashion line and also her book writing.

Lauren Conrad Won’t Be Stopped

Lauren’s first book, L.A. Candy just landed her another three-book deal with HarperCollins, Us Weekly is reporting.

This new trilogy is called, The Fame Game.

It is set in the reality TV universe, and features Madison Parker, an ambitious, ruthless character from the L.A. Candy series who’s ready to become a star in her own right. In her way? Backstabbing family friends, dogged paparazzi and one media scandal after the next!

Lauren explains,

“We took the mean girl of the [L.A. Candy books], spinning her off.  This series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that’s all she’s ever really wanted,” Conrad explains. “[Madison] has fun with the press, she enjoys the attention, she welcomes scandal!”

Fun!  Lauren is adorable.  I loved her on The Hills and have missed seeing her on the tube.  But, her writing is addictive and this new series is going to top the charts too, I am sure of it.
