Biggest Loser host and Days of Our Lives star, Alison Sweeney is ready for summer. She’s opened up to People to share her tips and tricks she’s learned as the host of Biggest Loser as well as pose for that hot pic above.

“I can’t even tell you what my life would be without the show,” Sweeney, 34, says. “I’m a more confident person and certainly more well informed, and that confidence I have comes from knowing I’m doing what I need to do and working hard for it.”

She isn’t super strict all the time though, but several times during the year,

“I cut the crap out of my diet – cheese, dairy, carbs like bread and pasta and fatty meats.”

She loves to snack on sliced bell peppers and cucumbers, as well as exercise every day.  She manages to squeeze in treats here and there to keep herself balanced.

“I’ll have wine or a piece of cake once in a while,” says Sweeney. “But I don’t look at it as sliding backwards, even if I go a whole week without working out. I don’t dwell on it and beat myself up – I just try to have a healthier day tomorrow.”

I love that attitude.  No need to be miserable and miss out on the good stuff all the time, right?  I just wish I had that kind of self control!  I have a magnetic attraction to the bad stuff…… and working out isn’t my strong suit.

OMG!  TMZ is reporting that there has been a bomb threat at Gloria Allred’s building in Los Angeles.  The LAPD bomb squad is investigating a “suspicious package” that was sent to the building.  There are currently five LAPD cars at the scene.

Allred isn’t in the building.  She’s been out of her office doing a TV shoot, so she’s not part of the drama… yet.

The CBS Evening News has a new man on board.  Say bye-bye to Katie Couric and hello to another man taking her place.   (She was the only female anchor in that spot.)

Scott Pelley, a veteran journalist and “60 Minutes” correspondent is the new man in town and he’s going to be a very familiar face as soon as Katie bows out.

CBS News Chairman Jeff Fager made the executive decision and it’s also been said that when he took his job in February, there was no way he was going to let Katie stay there.

But, Fager and the rest of the big wigs do want Katie to stay with CBS and to have her syndicated show there, so she can remain part of the team.

I wonder if Katie even wants to stay there?

Kevin Federline is getting ready to be a daddy for the fifth time.  Wow.  Five kids at the age of 33.  This boy has been busy!  This time around, he’s having a baby with Victoria Prince.  He had two boys with Britney Spears, and before that, a girl and boy with Shar Jackson.

Victoria is due in a couple of months, so they are almost there.  They seem pretty in love, I hope they can last.

Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe can be seen heading out to dinner last night in Paris at Cafe Constant with Mathew McConaughey and friends.

Ryan and Mathew are in Paris promoting their movie The Lincoln Lawyer. Earlier in the day, Amanda could be seen shopping with friends while Ryan promoted his movie.

I don’t know about you, but I think Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried make an adorable couple. I love me some Amanda badly.
