Former teen heartthrob Rick Springfield was arrested for DUI last night around 8 p.m. in Los Angeles after he was pulled over. Upon approaching his vehicle the officers smelled alochol and then had Rick perform a few sobriety tests that he failed.

The legal limit of alcohol in one’s system is .08 and Dicks was .10. He was booked and has been released.

Driving while under the influence is beyond wrong and it doesn’t matter who you are. However, having said that, you have  to admit Dick still has it at the age of 61. He’s looking not too bad, despite being intoxicated and on the verge of tears in his mug shot.

For those of you too young to know, he used to be on General Hospital and was a rock star (and I use that term loosely) in the 80′s and was known more specifically for his hit ‘I Wish That I Had Jesse’s Girl’.
