We’ve got a great new show coming our way this fall on The CW.  Sarah Michelle Gellar is starring in The Ringer.  This is a far cry from her days as Buffy the Vampire Slayer…. I can’t wait to see her in action once again.

Gellar stars as a woman who, after witnessing a murder, goes on the run, hiding out by assuming the life of her wealthy identical twin sister – only to learn that her sister’s seemingly idyllic life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she’s trying to leave behind. Bridget is six months sober and starting to turn her life around when she is the sole witness to a professional hit. Despite the assurances of her FBI protector, Agent Victor Machado, Bridget knows her life is on the line. She flees to New York, telling no one, not even her Narcotics Anonymous sponsor, Malcolm. In New York, Bridget reunites with her estranged twin, Siobhan. Wealthy, pampered and married to the strikingly handsome Andrew Martin, Siobhan lives what appears to be a fairy tale life – a life where no one knows that Bridget exists. The sisters seem to be mending their frayed relationship, until Siobhan disappears overboard during a boat trip, and Bridget makes the split decision to take on her sister’s identity. She discovers shocking secrets, not only about her sister and her marriage, but also about Siobhan’s best friend, Gemma, and Gemma’s husband, Henry. And when someone tries to kill Bridget in her sister’s penthouse, she realizes she is no safer as Siobhan than she is as herself.

The happy couple is planning to have a big ceremony to celebrate this winter at a ski resort up there “when extended family and friends from the Lower 48 can travel north for a long ski weekend.”

Now that’s what I call a great wedding!  One that involves a ski resort and some snowboarding!  How cool!  This should be a new trend!

Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to have a pretty full plate at the moment with all of his extramarital issues coming to a head in the media.  You know, sleeping with the maid and having a “love child” that surfaces 13 years later… that can take away from the whole Hollywood career thing.

Arnold announced he’s putting his acting career on hold until he can get his personal life in order.  His office released the statement for him of course:

“At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger, we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice,” Patrick Knapp, entertainment counsel to Schwarzenegger, said in a statement. “Gov. Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes ‘Cry Macho,’ ‘The Terminator’ franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Gov. Schwarzenegger decides.”

I don’t know of any Arnold fans at this point anyhow, so he’s better off finding a deep hole and hiding in it for a long, long time.

Fred Armisen and Elisabeth Moss Divorce Finalized!

I know what you are thinking.  Didn’t these two JUST get married not too long ago?  Dahlings, your memories are not failing you.  It was back in October of 2009 that Fred Armisen and Elisabeth Moss got hitched because, oh they were so in love.  But according to TMZ, these two apparently had enough after just ten months of marriage and split.  It was in September of 2010 that Moss filed for divorce and now they are legally a done deal.

So what went wrong?  Was Armisen just not funny enough for Moss despite his giving of giggles via Saturday Night Live?

Well rumor has it that the couple split due to Moss’s involvement with Scientology.  Yeah, I know.  Believable yet it was not something that either camp is admitting.  However, if Scientology was an issue, and he knew that before he married Elisabeth, why did the guy even go through with the vows?  At any rate, they can now legally move on.

Danity Donnaly is is a Midwestern mama with class, sass and a love for celebrity gossip.  Danity is a former disc jockey and is a fierce dancer who enjoys pancakes and diet coke. Kourtney Kardashian Shares Fitness Tips With 'Shape' Magazine

Kourtney Kardashian 32, is smoking hot in a bikini on the cover of Shape Magazine as well as the pictures inside the issue and shows us that being a new mom (to son Mason 18 months) doesn’t mean sexy is a thing of the past:

‘I’m proof that even after having a baby you can look better and sexier than ever

She’s always been into exercise and has learned what works best for her:

‘I tried working out at the gym in our New York City hotel, which was boring, and I took boot camp classes with Kim, but they’re just not for me,’

‘Know when is the right time for your workout and commit to doing it, she advised. ‘For me, I have to get up at 7am every day, before everyone else, leave Mason in bed with Scott, and go for a run. ’Thirty minutes of cardio is right outside my door.’

But in addition to regular exercise, Kardashian eats lots of fruits and vegetables:

‘It wasn’t just because it’s good for me, I’ve discovered I really like eating that way’

If she said eating toilet paper and clucking like a chicken got her into that shape I would be clucking all the way to the nearest grocery store and stocking up on toilet paper.

Now that’s an athletic, toned body!

Lady GaGa has managed to knock Oprah Winfrey off the top spot in the most current Forbes Celebrity 100 Power Listing . The list ranks the most powerful celebrities based on: an algorithm that includes earnings, press clippings, magazine covers and TV/Radio mentions.

Being that social media is HUGE, the algorithim also includes Twitter and Facebook influence to the mix.

Despite the fact that Winfrey earned $200 million more than GaGa, who only earned (imagine only earning) $90 million, GaGa ranks number one in both web and social rank which boosts her to the number one position on the list.

Justin Bieber is number three on the list followed by Irish rock legends (in my mind at least) U2 with Elton John taking the 5th spot.
