Jeff Conaway in Coma After Drug Overdose

‘Taxi’ star Jeff Conaway 60, is in a coma after an apparent drug overdose after being found unconscious May 11. His manager, Phil Brock, told the Associated Press that the overdose is most likely caused from pain pills and the Grease actor (1978) is in critical condition.

Brock says that Conaway is a ”gentle soul” but one who has been unable to “exorcise his demons.” Conaway did a stint on Dr. Drew’s Celebrity Rehab in 2008 where he was trying to over come addiction to cocaine and alcohol.

He became dependant on pain pills after he fell down a staircase in January of 2010 where he suffered a brain hemorrhage, fractured neck and broken hip.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Conaway, his family and friends.

Justin Timberlake is hosting the Saturday Night Live season finale this Saturday with musical guest Lady GaGa and if it’s anything like his previous stint it will be hysterical. What a perfect way to end the season. Which, btw wasn’t so hot truth be told.

Timberlake and SNL regular Andy Samberg ham it up for the SNL season finale promo teaser where Samberg tries to lay one on Timberlake’s lips. Timberlake wasn’t having it of course. When these two get together you know there will be music involved and let’s hope it’s hysterical.

The hardest working man in showbiz (quoting myself here), Michael Fassbender, could potentially have three, that’s right, three films playing the Venice Film Festival. David Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method and Steve McQueen’s Shame are already confirmed.  If Steven Soderbergh decides to go with Haywire, then Fassbender will score a hat trick or a triple play; a three-peat as it were. (It is still possible that Soderbergh could decide to bring Contagion to the Lido instead. The latter stars Matt Damon, Kate Winslet and Jude Law, so it’s a tossup. Why choose? Bring both! It’s Venice! Let there be bread and circuses! Oh wait…wrong city.)

George Clooney, not one to be outdone, may also have two films featured: Alexander Payne’s The Descendants, as well as The Ides of March, for which George would get extra points, because he directed it.

In any case, the 68th Annual Venice International Film Festival is shaping up very nicely.  Chaired by director Darren Aronofsky, and in addition to the above mentioned titles, lucky Venetians and jet-setting cinephiles will get to see Tomas Alfredson’s hotly anticipated Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy with the other-worldly cast that includes Colin Firth, Gary Oldman, Tom Hardy, Geoffrey Rush, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Benedict Cumberbatch…(Damn it! Uncle Peter says we’re OUT of smelling salts!). Steven Spielberg will arrive with either Tintin or War Horse.

If Ralph Fiennes’ Coriolanus doesn’t get at least a screening, and it still might, it wasn’t added to Cannes until the last minute, then there’s always Toronto! *shakes fist*

It’s happy news!  The gorgeous Niki Taylor is expecting her fourth baby!  She sharded the news with fans on her Twitter page with some cute photos that included the ultrasound images and these captions:

You don’t say?  Bachelor repeat Brad Womack is a loser?  Well, that’s what one source is claiming after Brad and Emily Maynard broke up for the 857th time.

This annoying-ass drama won’t just end already either.  Since the finale of The Bachelor, we’ve been tortured by Brad and Emily’s drama.  The new season of The Bachelorette is about to premiere and we are still dealing with their crap.  Ugh!  Emily knew full well that Brad wanted to remain in Texas and she was more than willing to move there when the cameras were rolling.  But not now.  She wants to stay in North Carolina with her daughter Little Ricki.  Gag!

Seriously.  Why can’t they just breakup, for GOOD and move on?!   One source says that isn’t happening,

“They are still together and engaged,” the pal says. “They are on and off, but there is a lot of love there. This is just a rough patch.”

Oh goody.  Can’t wait for the next round of hillbilly drama.
