James Durbin and Lady Gaga

James Durbin was kicked off of American Idol on Thursday night and is huge, huge upset.  Well, on Wednesday night before this happened, Lady Gaga was the mentor for the final four.  In her time with James, she got a little too hands on for his taste, trying to loosen him up in the hips.   He didn’t like it.

“I didn’t like it,” James tells Life & Style about his too-close-for-comfort brush with Gaga. “It was unexpected and very uncomfortable. To sum it up in one word: awkward!”

Yeah… she kind of creeped those guys out.  Scotty McCreery had to kiss his cross, Lauren Alaina was weirded out, and yeah, James wasn’t pleased and he disregarded everything she told him.

Gwyneth Paltrow at Alexander McQueen: 'Savage Beauty' Costume Institute Gala

At least she can give you her cure!  Gwyneth Paltrow is a fan of wine and Guiness beer, both of which can give you a mean hangover if you have too many.  But in a recent interview with England’s Closer magazine, she revealed that she is rarely affected by hangovers because she knows just the right method to avoid it.

“I have a great hangover cure,” she explains. “I take a cold shower in the morning and then I go into the sauna and drink a lot of water throughout the day. Green tea also helps!”

Wow.  That sounds wasy too easy/simple.  But I am so going to give that try… in the very near future… oh yeah, it’s Saturday… I think this could come into play by tomorrow morning! If you have any good tips, drop ‘em in the b0x below and share the wealth!

I am a super huge fan of The Office and I love Jenna Fischer on there as Pam.  She’s already become a mother on the show and she does it so well on there…. so, I think she’s going to be a slam dunk when it comes to the real thing!  She and her husband, Lee Kirk are expecting their first baby together.

They have been married for almost a year now and Jenna is more than ready for this new adventure in life.  She’s already an aunt and has gotten some practice here and there.

So happy for them!  Congrats!

Jon Cryer First Annual Comedy Awards

And who can blame him, right?  Jon Cryer should be stoked that he still has his job in tact with Two and a Half Men and that he no longer has to do the job centered on the manic Charlie Sheen.  Very, very happy for Jon.  He made a happy statement in regards to Ashton Kutcher signing on:

“I want to express my enormous gratitude to Charlie Sheen for eight great seasons. I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done together, and I will miss him.  But I’m also looking forward to this new beginning.  Ashton is an extraordinarily talented guy, and his presence will be an asset to our show,” he says. “We are old friends from our male modeling days, and we’re both looking forward to being judged for our comedic artistry, as opposed to our exceptional physical beauty.  I’m jazzed about the news this morning that Two and a Half Men is coming back! For all the rest of the cast and crew I’m sure they are equally excited.”

Bitter Charlie Sheen Reacts To Ashton Kutcher’s ‘Men’ Casting

I am very curious to see how this is going to play out.  Like the ratings part.  Will Ashton be able to compete?  Or does Sheen have enough loyal followers that will boycott the show?  This could get very interesting.

Paul Walker at the German Fast Five Premiere

So you think a guy who stars in the Fast Five (Furious, etc) flicks would be pretty good behind the wheel, right?  Well, Paul Walker isn’t that guy.  He’s not perfect.  He just got himself into an expensive scrape in a parking lot in Los Angeles.  And did he side swipe a beater?  Nope.  He picked out the most expensive car he could find (not really) and gave it a good bump.  The car happened to be an Audi R8 which runs about $130,000.  Ouch!

Paul is a good guy though and of course exchanged info. with the owner and went on his way.  That guy is just too cute.  You can’t hate him or knock him no matter what!

These photos of Andrew Garfield from the set of The Amazing Spider-Man in Queens, New York , are largely uneventful, but given he requires extra attention to the junk area of his Spider Man costume that is enough to grab and hold this dirty bitch’s attention.

Peter Parker has his legs wrapped around some steel beams and Uncle Ben (played by Martin Sheen) is seen in this set of on location shots as well.

Production is expected to wrap soon which means we are that much closer to seeing that incredible leotard wrapped around his healthy man junk. And by closer I mean we still have to wait until 2012, but hey, it’s something.
