Bristol Palin certainly couldn’t deny that she had work done to her face and she explained exclusively to US Magazine what and why she had it done:

“I had corrective jaw surgery” back in December 2010, ”Yes,” she admits, “It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons…so my jaw and teeth could properly realign…I don’t obsess over my face”

Still, “I am absolutely thrilled with the results,” she gushes. “I look older, more mature, and don’t have as much of a chubby little baby face!”

While I agree with her that she doesn’t have a chubby baby face anymore, I find it really difficult to believe the surgery she claims she had. Perhaps she did have that, but I don’t think that is all she had.

Sure I’m no plastic surgeon unless you count the Doctor/Nurse role playing, but I don’t think one really needs to be a plastic surgeon to figure this one out.

Given she’s a ‘role-model’ for young girls everywhere, I doubt she would admit to having plastic surgery for vanity purposes. Let’s face it you can’t hide pregnancy or a kid, but perhaps you can come up with some excuses as to why your face looks different. Not that I care. She could have butt implant surgery for all I care. I think she’s too young, but hey she’s got to live with it right?

Do you buy her story?

Jessica Chastain talked to E!Online recently and apparently “Brad Pitt is very annoying because he’s…perfect!”but Tom Hardy is “hot.”

Jessica Chastain, whom most people have probably never heard of, is about to become HUGE! She’s appearing in Terence Malick’s eagerly awaited Tree of Life, as well as Ralph Fiennes’ directorial debut, Coriolanus, with Fiennes and Gerard Butler, both of which are screening at the Cannes Film Festival this month.

She is currently filming The Wettest County in the World with Tom Hardy, Shia LeBeouf, Gary Oldman, and Guy Pearce (‘Scuse me, I need a moment. They had me at Tom Hardy. The rest is just an embarrassment of riches).

Reportedly Chastain’s love (read: S-E-X) scenes with Hardy are pretty steamy:

“I play this gun moll from Chicago who meets these three brothers and has a romance with Tom’s character,” she explained. “The thing about Tom Hardy is he more brilliant than he is hot,” she said. “It’s crazy. He’s actually a better actor than he is hot—and he is hot!”

I would have to agree. A few pics of Tom Hardy, who will next be seen in Warrior with Joel Edgarton and Nick Nolte, as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises have surfaced on the web.

He looks to have bulked back up to his Bronson weight and his head has once again been shaved. Bane will probably spend most of the movie in some elaborate costume, which is fine with me as long as I can still recognize those gorgeous lips!

The 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival kicks off tonight with an out-of-competition screening of Woody Allen’s newest, Midnight in Paris.

A romantic comedy, the film’s plot centers around an American family in Paris both for business and pleasure. The party includes a young engaged couple (Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams) “forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.” In addition to Wilson and McAdams, the movie sports another of Allen’s famous star-studded casts, including Michael Sheen, Marion Cotillard, Tom Hiddleston (Loki in Thor), Kathy Bates and another one of my personal faves, Adrien Brody.

Adrien Brody plays Salvador Dali in what I can only imagine is a dream sequence of some sort. Frankly, I think that’s inspired casting. Brody, an Academy Award winner for 2002′s The Pianist, clearly marches to the beat of his own drummer.

Next month will finally see the US release of the film Adrien made with Penelope Cruz back in 2008. In The Matador’s Mistress, Brody plays Spanish matador Manuel Rodríguez Sánchez (called Manolete by his fans-the film’s previous title) and Cruz plays Lupe Sino. Apparently the love scenes are smokin’! The film will be released on dvd and VOD on June 7.

Biggest Loser, Ali, Bob, and Jillian

Jillian Michaels announced that she’d be leaving Biggest Loser and that her goal was to have a baby.  Only she doesn’t want to get pregnant.  She doesn’t want to put her body through that.  Instead, she’s adopting.  That was the plan several months ago and it is finally in the works.

“My dossier, which is your paperwork portfolio, is in to the Democratic Republic of the Congo,” Michaels told Us Weekly, Monday in NYC at the National Magazine Awards. “So the paperwork is done, and now it’s just a waiting game. It could be six months, twelve months; it could be two years. Or, it could be tomorrow! They call you and they say, ‘Oh, we have your referral,’ which is essentially the child they match you up with, and you go overseas and you get him or her.”

So that is it!  We could be seeing the news any day now.  Jillian Michaels is going to be a mommy very, very soon.  I am so happy for her and I hope that the entire process goes smoothly for her.  I also hope to see her return to the show as soon as she’s able to.  Jillian is a very cool cat and she’s full of a natural talent that no amount of trainers could ever replace.

Kiefer Sutherland

Kiefer Sutherland, Gerard Depardieu, Til Schweiger, Thomas Jane, Johnny Hallyday, Jon Lovitz and Eric Cantona are all set to star in the upcoming action comedy, Sleight of Hand.  Mostly, I just need a fresh dose of Kiefer.  I miss that man.  Without 24, my life has been a little empty.

“It is going to be a wonderful film entirely shot in Paris,” announced producer Rionda del Castro, “the most beautiful city in the world and I will be working for the second time with Gerard, Johnny, Thomas and Jon. We are still casting so there are a few more surprises in store.”

The press release revealed:

In Sleight of Hand, also starring French actors Jean Luc Couchard, Nora Arnezeder and Patrice Cols, the international cast plays a crew of small time crooks in Paris, who inadvertently end up possessing a rare gold coin belonging to a notorious French gangster. The leader of the crew calls his uncle (Depardieu), a retired criminal, to help them raise the money to repay the gangster. The series of mix-ups and double crosses culminate as the gangs are pit face to face, chasing through Paris.

Sounds good, right?  I can’t wait!  Filming is set to start in July and run through September in France.  Stay tuned for more details!
