New Look At ‘Cowboys and Aliens’
Appearing Sunday night, and speaking after a screening of Iron Man at the Hero Complex Film Festival, director Favreau said details are still being hammered out but screening his film at SDCC is something of a gift to his fans, thanking them for their support:
“…not only are we going to premiere it there, we’re going to find a way to include as many of the fans as possible. I feel like they’ve come out for me, they’ve supported me.”
The film revolves around a stranger with no memory of his past, who wanders into a town already living in fear and eventually pulls together a posse comprised of former opponents – townsfolk, outlaws and Apache warriors. United against a common enemy, they will prepare for an epic showdown for survival.
Here’s the latest trailer for the film that stars Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford:
In addtion to Craig and Ford (playing Indiana Jones grandfather I think,) the film also stars Sam Rockwell (who appears to be channeling Jason Priestly from Tombstone,) Directed by the aforementioned Jon Favreau, it’s produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Steven Spielberg (!) and the king of all Hollywood, Ryan Kavanaugh and opens in theaters July 29
