A shiny brand-spanking new poster for Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens has debuted courtesy of IGN.com.  I told you I’d be back with more on this film! As I said the publicity machine already seems to be in hyperdrive and we’re still more than a month away! What’s next Warp Factor 10? (Is that faster than hyperdrive?)

In any case, from this poster, I think it’s safe to say who the star of this film is the “gadget-y bracelet”!  Seriously, hunk-a-licious Daniel Craig and his skin-tight chaps is definitely featured more prominently than craggy, yet dignified Harrison Ford. (It’s almost as if Ford is the elder-statesman of these types of action-adventure movies and he’s stepping back to let the younger man take the lead.)

Craig also gets first billing, but that could be because their names are in alphabetical order-chyeah right.) Although it seems to me that the overall effect is to keep both actors in the background and focus the attention on the supernatural light coming from Craig’s wrist.

More will surely follow! Cowboys & Aliens comes out on July 29! Can’t wait!
