Adele had to cancel her tour because she lost her voice and the doctor put her voice on total rest.  Yeah, totally sucks.  Anyhow, it looks like that is not her only issue!

Adele Channels Her Inner Sasha Fierce: Meet Sasha Carter

“Shortly after she landed in L.A. in early May, an executive for her label told her she needs to lose weight,” a source tells Star. “And that really devastated her.”

She isn’t into the big crowds that she’s been performing in front of and apparently it makes her throat close up on stage when she’s so nervous.

“The pressure on Adele…has been immense,” says the source. “She was sitting in her hotel room in Santa Monica on her own, crying.  Adele sees herself as just a normal girl from London, and she felt bullied and like a fish out of water in L.A. She just wanted to go home.  Last time she toured America, she was drinking a lot with her crew,” reveals the source. “[She] got very homesick and she canceled the tour because she wanted to go home to England to see her boyfriend at the time.”

They are saying that she’s been boozing it up to calm her nerves.  How true is this source?  I don’t know, but something is definitely off.

“She’s going to be a guest judge on the show and is really excited,” a source tells Life & Style.

So how will the chemistry be between Tim Gunn and Kim?

He ripped her on The Joy Behar Show saying,

“[Kim's] pretty, but she’s a poseur,” he said. “I find that when she’s static and still, she has an attractiveness. I find that when she’s moving, it all goes away from me.” As for the rest of the Kardashian family, the style guru, 57, also had harsh words for them. “I just think the Kardashians have an absence of taste, and I don’t think that that should be perpetuated,” he said in a separate interview.

Ouch!  I’d be pretty offended, wouldn’t you?  I think Kim will be perfectly poised though.  She will probably tease him over it and get an apology or something.

Nadya Suleman, aka 'Octomom'

Nadya Suleman’s doctor, Michael Kamrava, is begging the judge to let him keep his medical license.  The state Medical Board has already ruled to strip his license, but he’s hoping for a change of heart.  He filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court, requesting a stay of the Medical Board of California’s decision to revoke his license, he’s of course appealing.  I hope and pray the judge doesn’t listen.  That guy shouldn’t be allowed to treat another patient.

Octomom Gets Hosed

He is claiming that the Board exceeded its jurisdiction and violated his due process right to earn a living. Sure guy, whatever.   No one agrees with you.  Move on!

If all goes as planned, he will officially lose his license on July 1. Woo hoo!

Jason Momoa is my newest crush (thanks to Sheri) and he was in FINE form at The Devil’s Double Los Angeles screening last night.

Oh sure there were others there, that are actually in the film (imdb does not list him anywhere so I’m not sure if he is or isn’t in The Devil’s Double) but it’s Jason Momoa who has my attention.

I’m not sure what I like most about Jason Momoa whether it’s his thigh area, arms (I have a thing for forearms), chest, hair, face or all of the above.

The 6’4” piece of hot ass that Jason Momoa is, is best known for playing Khal Drogo in Games of Thrown and will be probably a household name (if he isn’t already) once Conan the Barbarian is released.

The Devil’s Double stars Dominic Cooper and is about:

The Devil’s Double has an August 12 release date.

The international trailer for David Cronenberg’s  A Dangerous Method starring Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen has been released via the official website for the film.

The film, with a script by the writer of Dangerous Liasons, Christopher Hampton, stars Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud, Michael Fassbender as Carl Jung and Keira Knightley as Sabina Spielrein, first Freud’s and then Jung’ patient, who became the latter’s mistress.

This trailer doesn’t have a “red band”, but just so you’re aware, it probably should.  (It’s an international version and lord knows they aren’t as uptight as the MPAA, who hasn’t rated the film yet. I think we can count on a “hard R.) Don’t get me wrong, I’m by no means complaining! I had already been looking forward to the film and imagining what an onscreen matchup of this calibre would be like. From the two minutes pictured here, I think I can sum it up rather succinctly: HOT! Smoking, scorching hot in every sense of the word. This has Oscar bait written all over it.  It’s only June and I think we’re looking at one of the most exciting awards seasons in recent memory.

A Dangerous Method, already schedule to play at the Venice and the Toronto International Film Festivals, was recently picked up by Sony Pictures Classics, but no release date has been set. It has a UK release date of 10 February 2012
