In one of the oddest bits of casting news I’ve heard in a long time, Ian McShane (“Deadwood”, “Lovejoy”) has reportedly been added to the Chris Hemsworth film, Snow White and the Huntsman (that’s the one where Kristen Stewart is playing Snow, not to be confused with The Brothers Grimm: Snow White).

In a twist to the fairy tale, this version revolves around the Huntsman (Hemsworth) who is ordered to take Snow White into the woods to kill her and winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen, played by Charlize Theron.

While odd, it’s also very intriguing, as he’s been cast as a dwarf, specifically “Caesar”, the leader of the dwarves. Average sized actors playing dwarfs hasn’t been new since The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, but I’ll buy a ticket for this one based on this bit of casting alone. Loooove me a good baddie and McShane is a master. I can’t wait to see him as Caesar the dwarf!

As previously reported, Snow White and the Huntsman is set to open in the US and the UK on 1 June 2012.

Just when the story of Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison 51, marrying his 16 year old bride Courtney Alexis Stodden couldn’t get any stranger, her parents have both come out gushing about how much they LOVE their son-in-law and that he is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet.

But let me back up a bit. Yesterday Radar Online did a story yesterday on how her mother has publicly stated she supports the marriage:

“We are totally supportive of this marriage,” ”Doug is a wonderful man and we love him.”

But then it gets very interesting. And by interesting I mean disturbing:

“Courtney was a virgin when she married Doug. She is a good Christian girl.” “She is a beautiful girl. She has real breasts, real lips, she’s not plastic.”

Is her mother for real? So if Courtney wasn’t a virgin she’s a ‘bad’ girl? While I personally think 16 is too young to have sex (and WAY too young to marry), I still find it hard to believe the double-standard exists the way it does in 2011. Unfortunately I know people personally raising their kids like this and I think it’s tragic (for the girls), but I don’t have kids so it’s hardly my place to give advice.

But why on earth would this woman announce to the world whether her daughter was a virgin or not? What does it matter? A 51 year old man taking away a 16-year-old girl’s virginity makes me sick. There is something very wrong about that.

Then mommy dear takes it a bit further and goes on to talk about her daughter having real breasts and lips. Who f*cking cares? I mean, that’s good to know for a 16 year old but why on earth does her mother feel she has to divulge such personal information about her daughter?

NO WONDER they approve of this union. He may be the nicest girl on earth but any man at that age who is in a sexual relationship with a child has ISSUES. How old was she when they got together? Illegal much?

Her father has also gushed about Hutchison (who by the way is 4 years older than her 47 year old father):

“Every father can only pray to have such a man behind their daughter.” “Courtney is one of the most level headed girls out there and I’m not just saying that because she’s my daughter. Doug is the nicest man I’ve ever met in my life,”

Level-headed or not she is a child and they couldn’t be at two more different places in their lives. This girl is going to be giving the best years of her life to some old dude. Don’t get me wrong the girl is beautiful and she hardly looks 16 and she could be very mature, but she is still ONLY 16.

This just proves that some people need to take courses of some sort before they spawn and give direction to another human being.

Seriously am I the only one here very disturbed by this?

Adele Adkins ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 12 Episode 15

Jeremih took on one of my new favorites, Adele’s “Rumor Has It” for Billboard Mashup Mondays. OMG!  It doesn’t get any better than this.  Seriously.  Music can be better than sex at times.  This is one of those times.

“You probably have never heard this type of sound from my voice, so I just wanted to touch it and see what I could do with it,” the 23-year-old Chicago native told Billboard. “I think [Adele is] one of the hottest new breakthrough artists. I love her sound of music. It kinda gives me the old Motown sound of music that I grew up listening to.”

Q: How do you keep up with all your projects?
I am literally writing any moment that I’m home. If I’m not cooking, I’m writing. And I keep notebooks all the time and doodle out ideas.

Q: Any special plans for your upcoming sixth wedding anniversary with your hubby, John Cusimano?
Every year we go back to where we got married, and we take our immediate family and a couple of friends to party in Tuscany. We go back to the scene of the crime. It’s my only extravagance.

Q: Do you have anything else on tap?
I’m doing the cooking equivalent of Dancing with the Stars, which I love, with Guy Fieri. We’re each going to coach a team of celebrities, and they compete against each other. It’s fun because there are a lot of foodies out there, and celebs eat too. Well, some of them!

Q: Will we ever see you on Dancing with the Stars?
No way! I hate people looking at me in sparkles. I love to dance, but I am so scared of the size of the outfits and the glitter factor of that show!

OH COME ON!  Really?  Yep.  Kim Kardashian is on a wedding diet.  Sure, it’s only a couple of months away.  But she looks perfect already!  What the hell is there a need for a diet for?  Oh yeah, his is Hollywood we are talking about, right?  Ugh.

Yeah Kim, that’s just what you need.  And um, just what little, insecure girls should be focused on.  Yikes!  When will it stop!?

Crystal Harris dumps Hugh Hefner then heads off to Las Vegas to party with Heidi Montag and her plasticness the day that she was supposed to walking down the aisle.   Then she has the balls to show up to his place on Father’s Day!! What?!

“Crystal came by to see how I’ve been doing,” Hefner, 85, Tweeted on Sunday. “We remain close friends.  Crystal brought Charlie back because she thinks he’s happier here.  I appreciate it, because I really missed him.”
