A shiny brand-spanking new poster for Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens has debuted courtesy of IGN.com.  I told you I’d be back with more on this film! As I said the publicity machine already seems to be in hyperdrive and we’re still more than a month away! What’s next Warp Factor 10? (Is that faster than hyperdrive?)

In any case, from this poster, I think it’s safe to say who the star of this film is the “gadget-y bracelet”!  Seriously, hunk-a-licious Daniel Craig and his skin-tight chaps is definitely featured more prominently than craggy, yet dignified Harrison Ford. (It’s almost as if Ford is the elder-statesman of these types of action-adventure movies and he’s stepping back to let the younger man take the lead.)

Craig also gets first billing, but that could be because their names are in alphabetical order-chyeah right.) Although it seems to me that the overall effect is to keep both actors in the background and focus the attention on the supernatural light coming from Craig’s wrist.

More will surely follow! Cowboys & Aliens comes out on July 29! Can’t wait!

Gwyneth Paltrow - Glee LIVE!

On Thursday night, Gwyneth Paltrow reprised her role on Glee as substitute teacher Holly Holiday at the show’s tour stop in East Rutherford, N.J. fro the LIVE! tour.  She rocked out to Cee Lo Green’s Forget You and was stellar of course!  She and Chris Colfer even enjoyed a little shimmy together!  It was truly classic.

Estella Warren was charged with DUI, hit-and-run and more. Now she wants to clean up her tainted image.  Don’t they all?  Don’t  get me wrong, I am glad she’s getting help. I just hope it works for her!  She checked herself into a residential treatment facility and is wearing an alcohol-detecting SCRAM bracelet, her lawyer told People.

Estella Warren Catches A MAJOR Break in Felony Arrest

“She wants to prove she isn’t drinking,” attorney Darren Kavinoky says.  “She’s committed to making the situation right and moving on in a way that’s appropriate.  This scenario can be the catalyst for significant change,” Kavinoky says. “Estella’s attitude towards this whole thing is awesome. She’s more than accepting. She’s embracing the personal opportunities that have come from this.”

She still has to face the music in court and could end up in jail for six months. I don’t think that will ever happen.  But hopefully she will clean up before that happens, regardless.

Raheem - Seattle Seahawks

Starting defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks,  Raheem might just be as dumb as a rock.  Why?  Because he plays for the NFL and that means he’s got money.  So what would make him bail on a tiny $27 tab at a bar?!  He was arrested outside the Copacabana last night in Philadelphia.

After the bar called the cops, they arrive and arrested him on suspicion of theft of services and resisting arrest and he was apparently not too smooth with the cops.

Just a small fact he just signed a contract for over $23 million. Yeah he looks like a complete douche pathetic!  Kinda makes me think world’s dumbest criminals just sayin’.

Skylar Grey has released “Invisible” which is the first single from her KIDinaKORNER/Interscope album Invinsible, slated for release this fall.  I am so high on Skylar’s voice. I am so anxious for this album and so glad she finally gave us this single!

Skylar Grey “Invisible” by igapromotion

Double your pleasure, double your Fassbender.  Two films that one of the hardest working men in show business, Michael Fassbender, has had in the can for quite some time have finally been picked up.  A Dangerous Method, directed by David Cronenberg and starring Fassbender as Carl Jung, Viggo Mortensen as Sigmund Freud and Keira Knightley as the woman who comes between them, has been picked up by Sony Pictures Classics (a very class act, as the name would suggest.) No release DATE, however, has yet been announced.

The other film is Steven Soderbergh’s Haywire, which has been rescued by Relativity Media. The film involves a black ops ‘super soldier’ looking for revenge after she is betrayed and set up during a mission. The soldier is played by MMA Gina Carano. In addition to Fassbender, the cast includes Channing Tatum, Ewan MacGregor, Michael Douglas and Antonio Banderas. The cast alone has me curious. I can’t imagine these actors all in the same movie.

It sounds like this film might have been part of the same package that has Relativity releasing Marc Forster’s Machine Gun Preacher this fall, since Ryan Kavanaugh’s company is handling domestic distribution for both Haywire and MGP and Lionsgate will handle foreign distribution

After bouncing around the 2011 calendar, Relativity has set a January 20, 2012 release date for Haywire.
