Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton play the  battling Conlon brothers in director Gavin O’Connor’s forthcoming film Warriors. Hardy plays Tommy, an ex-Marine just back from Afghanistan and Edgerton plays Brendan, a schoolteacher with money problems. They’re both former MMA fighters and end up back in the ring (cage?) fighting each other for a championship. Nick Nolte plays the pair’s grizzled father who coaches Tommy.

Back in March, actress Jennifer Morrison (House) who also stars in the film as Edgerton’s wife, posted this teaser on her Facebook wall:

Now a new poster has dropped showing the two gorgeous specimens sans shirts. Edgerton comes off the best I think. (What is that? A 12 pack??) While Hardy’s tatts are delicious (and very real) his gorgeous mouth looks distorted, as if he’s wearing his mouth guard from the fight. (Trust me, I’ve made a study of this man’s lips.) What I like about both the trailer and the poster, aside from the obvious, is that we aren’t immediately sure who we’re supposed to be rooting for!

Nick Hexum of 311 performing at The Bayfront Park Amphitheater

311 frontman Nick Hexum is  hero to his wife Nikki and their new daughter, Maxine.  He delivered her at home on his own!  This was Nikki’s second home childbirth and was planned, but the midwife was supposed to be there.  When she wasn’t, Nick took matters into his own hands.

He was concerned for his daughter’s safety when he noticed the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck. Remembering the birth of his daughter, Echo, 21 months prior, he reached in and rotated the baby so she could be delivered.

Thankfully the midwife showed up soon after and cut Maxine’s umbilical cord.  I just wonder if they will plan another after this!  Rock stars!

Since losing 60 pounds on Dancing With the Stars, Kirstie Alley seems to think she’s teeny tiny.  The world has been rolling their eyes and wondering where her head is at. Well, she says:

“My goal dress has a waist that’s 22 inches,” she shares with Life & Style. “I tried it on, and I can almost zip it up.” She plans to wear the dress on her Italian vacation in a few weeks. “I’ll be my target size by then.”

She plans to keep this weight off this time. We all saw her put it on and lose it roller coaster style in the past, so I hope she can do it this time.

“I’ve been dancing almost every day since the show ended,” she confides. “I like all the Latin dancing. It’s the best exercise and the best cardio.”

“We’re homies,” Trace, 22, told Us Weekly Thursday of his friendship with Hemsworth, 21. “I support my sister in anything she does.”

Plus, their parents are back on track as well after nearly going through with the divorce!

“Everything is good,” the former Metro Station rocker said during the Billabong Design for Humanity Event in Hollywood. “We’re tight, so that’s all the matters. Life is good, so I can’t complain.”

Trace also wanted to give a little plug for his upcoming album:

“The song with Miley is called ‘Shot in the Dark.’ It will be out soon,” he teased. “It will be a single for sure!”

I liked these two together,  I hope that make it last this time around.

In case you were wondering if Jesse James and Kat Von D really did breakup, it’s not true.  The inked up couple are still going strong and the wedding plans are still on track.

“That is absolutely not true,” says James, 42, bristling at Internet reports that he’s split from the LA Ink star. “We’re still going strong. Things are completely good with us.”

She adds,

“That’s the furthest thing from the truth.”

Jesse is stoked on their upcoming wedding next summer, on their anniversary,

“That day can’t come soon enough!” he says.  “Everything is on track.  I am absolutely more in love today than I was a year ago. She’s the one for me.”

Well goody. Can’t wait to see this one fall apart. Can you say ‘Bad Romance’?
