Looking hotter than any man has a right to, Gerard Butler helped Artists for Peace and Justice (APJ) launch ‘A Ring to Educate a Child in Haiti’ — a new $1370 limited edition pirouette ring made of silver and rose gold- Wednesday night June 15 at swanky Beverly Hills jewelry store, Vhernier. The purchase of each ring will provide a year of tuition at the St. Luc’s Street Schools and the Academy for Peace and Justice in Haiti.

Of course, he wasn’t the only celeb on hand. Director Paul Haggis, founder of APJ as well as starlets Eva Amuri and Anna Lyn McCord and others were among the attendees.

I know it’s a cause near and dear to our boy’s heart and he, in fact, sits on the APJ board, so I feel a little bit superficial when I say, the only one I really can’t keep my eyes off of is G.  (But I said it anyway.) And never one to disappoint, it appears the man was his usual charming and goofball self and at one point, as he is wont to do, turned the cameras on the press.

Nick Cannon is feeling pretty crappy that he’s having to leave Mariah Carey and their twins at home while he attends to his hosting gig on America’s Got Talent.

“It’s quite difficult,” Nick reveals to Life & Style. “Probably one of the hardest things I’ve had to do.  I really didn’t think about how difficult it was going to be because my wife has always been on the road,” he tells Life & Style. “She’s extremely understanding when it comes to that. I didn’t think it would be harder than before until it actually happened.  All I want to do is be home with my kids.  But you have to get out there and work, so it’s definitely a difficult task.”

All I can say is that at least it’s Nick leaving and not Mariah. Momma being away is way worse.  And the season won’t last forever!  Hang in there Nick!  We love you on AGT!!!

Selena Gomez had a big health scare and she came out of saying she was “malnourished” but, she looks great… she is obviously not starving herself, so what gives?

“I do eat,” she said on Kidd Kraddick’s radio show in Texas on Thursday. “The problem is I don’t eat right. I love everything that’s possibly not good for me.”

Thankfully her mom is on board and helping Selena get the nutrients she needs,

“She’s definitely shoving vitamins down my mouth and following me around,” she says of her mommy. “But at the same time, I was a stubborn kid, so I got to eat whatever I wanted. I have to have creamed spinach or cheese on my broccoli. I have to have something that makes it not healthy.”

Selena loves her sweets,

“I love M&Ms, Kit Kats, Snickers and Goobers at the movies,” she admits.

Thanks mom, she’s doing better… kepp it up!

“I’m good now, thank you,” she says. “I’m so much better.”

This girl is such a doll.  I am so glad that it wasn’t anything more serious….

Super funny guy, Ross Mathews has lost an amazing 40 lbs. and he’s going to keep that new figure!  Summertime can be tough with all the BBQ’s and festivals though, so how will we all manage?

“It’s summertime. You want to show a little skin but you also want to go to the barbecues and have a little something to eat. My Jenny Craig consultant teaches me that I can partake and indulge in whatever I want,” Ross, now a spokesman for the diet plan, tells Star.

Ross, Sara Rue, Nicole Sullivan and Valerie Bertinelli were in New York City for Jenny Craig’s Party in the Plaza summer kickoff at Lincoln Center and shared their weight-loss stories to help inspire the rest of us:

Sara, who has lost 50 lbs., tells Star, “I want people to try all the food because the question I get the most is, ‘Did you really eat the food and is it good?’ I really eat the food and I think it’s really good.” To prove it, she grilled up some chicken, veggie and pineapple kabobs for hungry fans.

Nicole, who cooked turkey burgers with mango, yellow bell peppers and dill, says she hopes mothers will opt for a healthier lifestyle. “There’s a way to be happy, be a mother, teach your children good nutrition, and not feel sad and depressed in your body,” Nicole tells Star. “That’s what I felt after my first son and I don’t feel that now, so I’m happy.”

OMG!  The turkey burgers with mango sound to die for!  I cannot wait to slap that one on the grill.  Sure, this is a dieting post, but I am suddenly ravenous!  Thanks guys!  Will be trying out your tips!

Sacha Baron Cohen is in the midst of filming his latest comedy, The Dictator and judging by these pictures on location and the poster for it, it should be as funny as his films Bruno and Borat.

The belt around the boxers just complete this look for Sacha as he is seen on the streets of New York City with a plate in hand and a glass of wine. In these photos you’ll see his stunt double who probably had the task of face-planting on the sidewalk.

The film is due for release on May 11, 2012 and is described as:

The heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.

Kim Kardashian’s wedding gift registry is so over-the-top it’s to the point of being ridiculous. She is totally having the Royal Wedding that the Prince William and Kate Middleton didn’t have.

Take for instance the $840 crystal ashtray that she and Kris Humphries registered for, yet neither of them smoke. I can’t picture Kim Kardashian letting anyone smoke in her house either. If you really feel like splurging on the couple there is a $7,850 vase.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are engaged to be married and have registered their wish list of gifts at Geary’s of Beverly Hills which you can imagine how expensive it is. The list includes Baccarat crystal (of course) and don’t forget some Lalique thrown in. The plates they want is by Hermes (silly me thought they only made scarves and purses) at $305 each!! The total for this gift registry? $172,000! That’s a house to the average person.

The registry lists their wedding date as October 31, 2011, but poodles you and I both know Kim is sprinting to the alter so expect it to be months before then.

For the couple who have a ton of money between them, this seems a bit much. As ABC News poined out, the Royal Couple requested you make donations to favourite charities. But not Kim and Kris. Is it me or does it just seem like she’s all about the wedding ceremony, dress and gifts? I hope she puts this much effort into her marriage as she does the events surrounding it.
