John Edwards’ mug shot at the time of his booking looks more like a teacher’s picture for a school’s year book.
Edwards was indicted on four counts of illegal campaign contributions, one count of conspiracy and one count of false statements as a result of payments made to his mistress and baby momma Rielle Hunter.
He pleaded not guilty for soliciting almost $1 million in campaign funds for the cover up. This has got to be one of the happiest mug shot I’ve ever seen.
Sean Bean, that gorgeous hunk of Yorkshire pudding, could until this past Sunday *spoiler alert!*be seen in HBO’s epic series “Game of Thrones, where he played the head and heart of the Seven Kingdom, Eddard “Ned” Stark (who btw, deserves an Emmy nod.) Sean Bean looks good in armor and chain mail as many of you know. I’m sure you’re familiar with him as Boromir in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings. Unfortunately for House Stark as well as Sean and the rest of us, ole Ned was beheaded on Sunday. (Gee, he didn’t survive the 1st LOTR movie either.)
I hadn’t read the books so this came as a COMPLETE surprise to me. Main characters are usually safe from such dire consequences. After the episode, I wandered the internet in my grief, stumbling blindly from site to site. From what I’ve read since, the real story has only just begun, but don’t get too attached to anyone. No one is safe. But, I digress.
To add insult to injury, after literally being axed from a hit HBO show, Sean and “girlfriend” April Summers, (yes, she is a girl. She’s 22 to his 52) were out in a Camden pub in merry old London town, presumably to drown his sorrows, but minding their own business. They step outside for a cigarette, because you can’t smoke ANYWHERE anymore, and some prat drives by yelling expletives at said girlfriend. Well, what’s a chivalrous knight to do? Apparently it wasn’t until the prat had circled back for more that the Bean took action, defending his lady love’s honor. A melee ensued and Beans was summarily stabbed with a beer bottle!
Bad form! That’s just not on!
Well, the coppers were called and the miscreants hauled away. Our hero refused medical attention of any sort and rumor has it went back inside for another drink. I certainly hope someone stood him to a round for his trouble!

Our Idiot Brother, is one flick I am really looking forward to. It stars Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer, Rashida Jones, Hugh Dancy, Kathryn Hahn, Shirley Knight, Janet Montgomery and Steve Coogan. This one is set for an August 26 release and I can hardly wait! Here’s the scoop!
Every family has one: the sibling who is always just a little bit behind the curve when it comes to getting his life together. As Liz, Emily and Natalie each take a turn at housing Ned, their brother’s unfailing commitment to honesty creates more than a few messes in their comfortable routines. But as each of their lives begins to unravel, Ned’s family comes to realize that maybe, in believing and trusting the people around him, Ned isn’t such an idiot after all.

Former Bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky injured herself while kayaking in April and ended up with staples in her head. Well, this time the little go-getter fractured her femur while working out, kickboxing! People is reporting:
At first she thought perhaps she’d torn the ACL in her knee, but an MRI revealed that the fracture is a result of a osteochondral defect in the cartilage in her leg. According to her rep, Fedotowsky is using crutches to get around and will likely undergo surgery to repair the injury.

I have to say, that sounds just like me. Totally injury prone and a bit on the klutzy side. But hey, she’s having fun, living life. She’s happy. She’ll bounce back and take on a new challenge! You go girl!

She tells Star,
“I’m trying to eat super healthy, but I do definitely splurge every now and then. Anything sweet and any kind of carb. I don’t discriminate — anything! I definitely get my nutrients in. We eat a lot of lean meats and vegetables. We try to stick to the cave man diet, which is vegetables, nuts and meat. I’m pregnant now and I tend to gain a lot of weight with my pregnancies. But staying healthy and exercising is very important and because I’m a model I kind of do have to be fit. I need to be on my A-game, weight wise.”
Truly, it would be torture to have to watch everything you eat while pregnant, but yeah…. when you’re a model, if you want your job in tact when you pop out the baby, you better be back in your skinny jeans, quick style!
