At least that’s what you’d think….. a week?!  Yeah.  Amy Winehouse has bailed on rehab after only one week of treatment.  Granted, I have never been to rehab.  But when I get on a shopping kick, it takes more than a week without retail therapy for me to calm down and smell the roses again… just sayin’.

Winehouse checked out of Priory Clinic according to her rep who confirmed it to the Associated Press. Now she will go through an outpatient program.  Sorry, but does anyone think that will actually work for her?

The only reason that Amy is even going through this whole act is because of her upcoming tour.  Since when does that work?

Lindsay Lohan departs a Downtown Women's Center

No.  Not at all.  That’s just what everyone wants to hear.  Everyone wants Lindsay Lohan to fail.  They want her to bust out of her house arrest and go to jail… or something of that nature.  She got off too easy, right?  She needs to pay.  Blah, blah…..

Guess what?  Just because everyone wants her to fail, doesn’t mean she will.  Perhaps the girls deserves at least an ounce of credit.

Lindsay Lohan: Sober For LIFE

When her anklet went off, triggering an alarm, everyone thought she tried to bail out of her house and break her house arrest.  Well, I knew that was B.S.  Of course she didn’t.  I don’t believe she’s that stupid.  Has she made mistakes?  Yes.  So have I.  But that would be pure idiocy.

“Lindsay’s electronic monitoring system went off on Monday,” Lohan’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said Thursday in a statement. “When a representative from the monitoring company went to her home, the representative found Lindsay there. The equipment was replaced the following day.”

That is the truth people, so why can’t everyone find someone new to pick on and let Lindsay attempt to start fresh.  She deserves that much.

Kelsey Grammer sporting a new beard

Kelsey Grammer is going all out to take down his latest ex-wife, Camille Grammer.  He filed legal papers to take her to TRIAL for custody of their two children.  According to TMZ, his lawyer, Lance Spiegel, a child custody expert, is evaluating Kelsey and Camille along with the kids to figure out how custody should be divided.

They currently have a custody arrangement in place that will expire on July 2, so they now have less than a month to get ready for what looks like could be an all out war.

I think this is insanity.  The kids need the best love and care possible.  Kelsey and Camille are making this all about themselves and their personal issues.  That’s what I call crappy parents.  Plain and simple.

Canadian songstress Shania Twain got her star on The Walk of Fame today while her husband Frederic Thiebaud showed his support (and showered her with affection) as did her friend Bo Derek. Who knew those two were friends?

She looks so happy and she takes the time to head over to her group of Canadian fans and sign autographs for them. Shania received star number 2,442 in a ceremony that clearly had her a bit overwhelmed:

“I mean, why is a girl from Timmins, Ontario, standing here, getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?” the Grammy-winner asked. “I really don’t know … it’s a small miracle, to be honest, that I am here today.

American Idol’s Jordin Sparks looks gorgeous and SO slim as she attends Ogilvy Cares cancer gala benefiting cancer care held on USS Intrepid in New York City today.

Her dress is GORGEOUS and she is just glowing. What a beautiful figure and form-flattering dress. Back at the beginning of May she talked to OK! Magazine about how she lost the weight:

“I’m actually single right now, so that is the thing that’s changed [when I lost weight],” I turned 21 in December, and you know how everybody starts thinking about New Year’s resolutions by the end of December, and all that stuff? I was like ‘I’m going to start right now.’ I’m going to start right now, and I’m going to go hike that mountain that’s in my backyard. I stuck with it. I decided to make it a priority instead of just talking about it.”

So of course the other part of the weight-loss equation is food intake and portion control which OK asked if she was also amending:

“I haven’t actually, aside from the fact that I’m eating better proportions I guess,” she says. “I made chicken alfredo the other night, and I made some cupcakes the other night. It’s eating smaller, and actually thinking about whether I’m hungry or not. Instead of being like ‘I love food and I’m going to eat more,’ I’m taking my time.”

What a sensible way to shed the weight. Jordin Sparks needs to keep on doing what she’s doing because I don’t think I ever recall seeing her look so happy and glowing. Good for her!

Also at the beginning of May she shared her bikini photos with all of her Twitter fans. And that was a month ago, so you can see she looks even better (not that she wasn’t beautiful then because she was).

Kate Winslet may be heating things back up with her former boy toy Louis Dowler. It was over the weekend that the actress and the hot to trot model were supposedly spotted canoodling in New York together.

A source told The Telegraph that “They look like they’ve patched things up.”

One ‘alleged’ appearance together doesn’t mean much, in my opinion, but it could very well be possible.
In other Winslet news, Kate recently revealed that working with her Mildred Pierce co-star Guy Pearce was a dream come true.

Winslet told Sky that, “Guy Pearce was my teen heart-throb as Mike in Neighbours. I’d fake illness to stay off school to watch him.”

As for those sex scenes that Pearce had to engage in with various women in the flick? He revealed, “It’s great fun getting to roll around naked with lovely women but it’s quite embarrassing. It’s all very technical but there’s this part of your mind going, ‘This is really erotic and strange’.”

I can’t even imagine making love to one of my teen crushes. I’d definitely need a Depends diaper to contain my excitement.
