It was not until today when I was talking to someone (very near and most very dear to my heart) about the death of Amy Winehouse and she informed me that Amy is now part of the ’27 Club’. Apparently there is a growing list of musicians who have died at the age of 27! Did you know this existed?

And if you look at the list, it is, in my opinion, some of the most talented singers/musicians this world has ever seen:

• Jim Morrison
• Janis Joplin
• Ron McKernan (Grateful Dead)
• Jimi Hendrix
• Brian Jones (Rolling Stones)
• Kristen Pfaff (Hole)
• Kurt Cobain

And of course now Amy Winehouse. There are more on this list but I only included those that I thought were household names so-to-speak.
