Matt Bomer Looking All GQ-Like Filming ‘White Collar’ PHOTOS

Matt Bomer was on the streets of New York looking all fine and GQ-Like in his suit filming scenes for the very popular White Collar series yesterday.

Is it me or does this hunk of man-meat get better looking each time we see him?

The 33 year old hunk is filming White Collar in the midtown section of New York. Speaking of midtown, my loins ache a little.

Love this new poster for action adventure/historical drama Red Tails! It has a very vintage vibe to it, completely appropriate to the subject and setting. Last month we showed you a very cool first trailer and now there’s a second. From director Anthony Hemingway (“Treme”, “The Wire”, “True Blood”, “CSI:NY”), Red Tails is another take on the story of the ‘Tuskeegee Airmen’. The men of the 322nd Fighter Group were the first African Americans to complete training to become fighter pilots (training took place in Tuskeegee, Alabama, hence the nickname) during WWII even though racism denied them the chance to put their skills to the test until the need proved to be so desperate that they could no longer be overlooked. As Terence Howard declares, “{They would} NOT go away!”

The little bits of the fighter sequences we saw in the first trailer were exciting.  This 2nd trailer, although shorter has even more aerial footage and it is really spectacular. It would seem producer George Lucas was right to trust cinematographer John B. Aronson, despite his limited resume.

The terrific cast is lead by Terrence Howard, Bryan Cranston, Cuba Gooding, Jr. (who seems to be aging into better parts with which to show that his Oscar was not a fluke. He also appeared in HBO’s “The Tuskeegee Airmen”), David Oyelowo (The Help, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Gerald McRainey, Ne-Yo and Method Man.

I’m looking forward to this. A US release date of January 20 is listed at the end of the trailer and imdb has been updated to reflect this. I’ll keep you posted on other dates.

Mad Men’s John Slattery (who by the way I would drop my panties for in a heartbeat) has come to the defense of January Jones who continues to get a bad rap for being an ice queen with zero social skills.

Recently the boy that plays her son on the hit show, Jared Gilmore 11, was quoted by TV Guide as saying:

“Be careful around January. She’s not as approachable as the others. She’s really serious about what she does.”

As for the rest of the cast, Gilmore added, “Everyone else is so nice.”

Burn. This comes after Zach Galifianakis recounts a meeting January and says of the meeting:

“It was crazy. I was at a party — I’d never met her — and she was like, ‘Come sit down.’ So I sit at her table and talk for 10 minutes, and she goes, ‘I think it’s time for you to leave now.’”

“So I say, ‘January, you are an actress in a show and everybody’s going to forget about you in a few years, so f*cking be nice,’ and I got up and left. And she thinks that’s funny.’”

Um, wow, right? But her Mad Men co-star John Slattery (did I mention he is panty remover for me?) rides in on a white horse and comes to her defense and says of her character Betty Draper (who I am sickened by):

“Well, it’s an intimidating character,” he said at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Performers Peer Group 2011 Emmys cocktail reception at L.A.’s Sheraton Universal Hotel. “I mean, that’s the character. Betty Draper is an intimidating woman I suppose, if you were a 7-year-old boy [or] her son.”

He admits January is actually a sweetheart and there are no divas on the set.

Perhaps John ‘Panty Remover’ Slattery is just being the gentleman that I imagine him to be (outside of the boudoir kittens), or is this a case of ‘where there is smoke there is fire’. Who knows? Who cares? Hopefully having a baby will humble and defrost the ‘alleged’ ice-queen.

Ross Matthews 31, is getting his own talk show (did we not beg for that back on August 14??) and there is no one who deserves it more! He is a regular guest on Chelsea Lately and his humor and personality are infectious.

He tells the Hollywood Reporter (who got the exclusive):

“It really is the time and I feel like I’m ready now,” “I know how to speak to the audience. I know how to speak to celebrities. And I know my point of view.”

In conjunction with Borderline Amazing Productions (Chelsea Handler’s production company) Ross has signed a one year deal that will feature him as one of E!’s talents.

“We’ve been doing stuff together for a couple years now, but this really makes it official,”“And so what this is going to do is sort of firm up our relationship and say I’m going to be one of E!’s people now.”

“When people see my face,” he continues. “I want them to say, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s Ross from E!’ and ‘I know where to tune in to see him.’ ”

If you can believe it, it was 2001 when we first saw Ross as ‘The Intern’ on the Jay Leno Show. It is unbelievable that 10 years has passed but it has and Ross deserves a huge break.  He says of the last 10 years:

“I’ve been earning my stripes for the past decade,” he tells us. “And really honing my craft as far as surrounding myself with people that inspire me like Jay Leno and Chelsea Handler. I’ve been so lucky that they provided my opportunity to develop a clear voice that the audience has responded to.

This is the best news. Personally, I believe that Ross Matthews is just getting started and I can’t wait to be part of his journey. Congratulations to him and to E! for recognizing his obvious talent.

Selena Gomez hit Toronto yesterday where she held a press conference to announce an 11-city Canadian tour starting in October. Reporters were warned ‘no personal questions’ so there was no confirmation as to whether she dumped Justin Bieber’s sorry ass or not.

Then the gorgeous 19 year old performed to a sold-out crowd at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre with her band The Scene for their 90 minute We Own The Night concert where they covered Spotlight, Middle of Nowhere, Who Says and of course Love You Like A Love Song and others. On top of that she did a mini tribute to Britney Spears.

And in case you were wondering, there was no sign of Justin Bieber anywhere. Is that a sign she kicked his ass to the curb or he just couldn’t make it?
