Kim Kardashian Got Married (Video)

Kim Kardashian Got Married (Video)

The wedding of all celebrity weddings took place Saturday, August 20th when Kim Kardashian married Kris Humphries in Monticeto, California. A wedding that allegedly cost approximately $20 Million and boasted a guest list of 450 that included Ryan Seacrest, Julianne Hough, Avril Lavigne, Eva Longoria and tons other.

E! News is giving us a teaser video already of the nuptials that will take place over two episodes on E! As well, on Friday the September 5th issue of People will go on sale and you’ll get to see lots more pictures of the wedding.

What did you think of Kim’s dress? Without seeing a full view it’s difficult to say, but I’m not a fan of the headband head gear.

Three New Posters for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy!

Three New Posters for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy!

Good things come to those who wait! There are now three new posters for Tomas Alfredson’s Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. Tom Hardy as Ricki Tarr, Colin Firth’s Bill Haydon and Mark Strong’s Jim Prideaux have gotten digitized to match the poster of Gary Oldman’s George Smiley that was released a month or so ago. If these three are greeted with as much enthusiasm, the producers may gift us with posters for the rest of the stellar cast.

For those of you that just got back from that lunar vacation (I’m sure there is no wi-fi on Moonbase Alpha), Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is a big screen version of the John Le Carre novel set during the Cold War in swinging 60′s London. It was famously filmed for television back in the 1970′s with Sir Alec Guinness as superspy George Smiley, now being played by Gary Oldman.  The plot revolves around the hunt for a “mole” within the upper echelons of British intelligence.  Smiley is brought out of semi-retirement to ferret out the Russian mole at the heart of the ‘Circus’  (MI6′s HQ in London’s Cambridge Circus. That’s ‘circle’ for us non-Brits) The only thing we know for sure is that nothing is what it seems. *shiver* Can’t freakin’ wait!

In addition to those listed above, the cosmic cast includes John Hurt, Ciaran Hinds, Simon McBurney, Benedict Cumberbatch (More “Sherlock” please!), Toby Jones and Stephen Graham.

The lucky Brits get to see this movie on 16 September, almost a full two months ahead of us here in North America. We don’t get the goods until November 11. I smell a conspiracy.

Britney Spears Brings Sean Preston On Stage (VIDEO)

Britney Spears Brings Sean Preston On Stage (VIDEO)

Last night in concert, Britney Spears brought son Sean Preston out on stage much to the delight of all her fans. Not only did Sean Preston look thrilled to be there (after he got through the obvious stage fright). Can you imagine being a kid (he’ll be 6 on September 14) and being on a stage like that? What an experience!

Britney totally looks in her element. Britney doesn’t look any happier than when she’s with her kids. That is pure joy on her face and it looks great on her. The clip is only a short one, but it’s adorable nonetheless.

Dwayne Johnson Confirms Bruce Willis For G.I. Joe Movie

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson confirmed via twitter that Bruce Willis has joined the cast of the G.I. Joe movie: G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation:

Bruce Willis Confirmed For G.I. Joe Movie

It was rumored that Bruce Willis wanted the role of General Joe Colton which according to CinemaBlend, is the first G.I. Joe. Dwayne Johnson plays ‘Roadblock’ which is a perfect character name for this big lug of a hunky man.

Jon M. Chu (he directed Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never’ documentary) is directing this one which also stars Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki and others.

As someone with girl parts I’m not familiar with the G.I. Joe story line at all but I am liking the cast.

Judging By the Trailer, There Will Be Carnage!

Judging By the Trailer, There Will Be Carnage!

A first trailer for Roman Polanski’s Carnage has just dropped. The film is a screen adaptation of Yasmina Reza’s hit play, “God of Carnage” which sounded, to those unfamiliar with the play and from the synopsis, Two New York couples meet to discuss the schoolyard altercation between their sons, and from the heavy hitters involved, Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly, that this would a straight drama. But the play won its accolades as a comedy and this trailer brings that point home.

It’s comedy of the urban and urbane variety, something one might have expected from Moliere if he were writing today or Woody Allen at the height of his powers. Foster, Winslet et al will obviously doing battle in a war of words, although I think from the trailer we can anticipate some physical comedy. Either way, I think it’s safe to say a type of ‘carnage’ will be left in its wake.

The four stars mentioned above are the only cast and the movie takes place in the apartment of one of the couples. The script is co-written by the playwright and the director. Carnage will play the Venice Film Festival and then move to these shores and be the opening night gala presentation of the New York Film Festival. It will be released on December 16 in the rest of the US.
