Mila Kunis Fell Asleep During Sex Scene With Justin Timberlake in Friends With Benefits

Mila Kunis New York premiere of 'Friends with Benefits'

Mila Kunis New York premiere of 'Friends with Benefits'

Mila Kunis proves that sex scenes in movies can be anything but sexy when she admitted to falling asleep during a sex scene with Justin Timberlake during the making of Friends With Benefits:

“Towards the very end, we were shooting the lovemaking scene at his father’s house,” Kunis explained to Total Film. “It was like an 18-hour long day and 17 hours into it, I was laying there and he was kissing my back.

“I was like, ‘I’m just going to close my eyes for a minute’. Next thing I know, you’re like, ‘Okay, we’re done!’ I literally took a nap!”

You have to admit (and I haven’t seen Friends With Benefits yet) that Mila and Justin have great chemistry. You can see it in interviews with these two, but I guess it’s not of a sexual nature. Justin has also admitted that filming their sex scenes was ‘awkward’.

Some guys would chew off their right arm for a chance at such awkwardness with Mila Kunis. Have you seen Friends With Benefits? Did you like?

Gerard Butler is Steve Vail! PHOTOS

Gerard Butler is Steve Vail!

Gerard Butler has been cast as former FBI agent turned Chicago bricklayer Steve Vail in, wait for it…The Bricklayer, based on Noah Boyd’s bestselling novel. YES!

I’m excited! I read the book and I enjoyed it. Noah Boyd is actually a nom de plume for former FBI agent Paul Lindsey. While it’s not great literature, it’s smart and it’s got enough twists and turns that, I think, in the right hands, it’ll make a great action-adventure thriller of a movie. Perfect for Gerard Butler!

In the novel Vail, described as a “loose cannon” (I know, shocker!) with his own moral compass, is brought out of retirement (because these secret squirrel types are never allowed to quietly slink off into the sunset. The only way they’re ever really “ex” anything is when their gun is pried from their cold dead hands) to help with an investigation into a series of kidnappings for ransom by a particularly clever group of domestic terrorists. The real target is the FBI itself.

There is a very juicy female part as well, Kate Bannon is the female deputy director at the FBI who is assigned to work with Vail. She’s described as beautiful, naturally, but she’s also intelligent and three dimensional. She’s not a supermodel with badge. This part has not yet been cast.  I picture a Rachel McAdams type, but not Rachel McAdams. She’s too perky.

A relative unknown, Hanna Weg is adapting the novel for the screen. The only credit imdb has listed for her is The Beautiful and the Damned, a bioflick about Zelda Fitzgerald. Keira Knightley was at one time rumored to star but the stage of development is also unknown. Butler along with his longtime manager and producing partner Alan Siegel will produce for their Evil Twins shingle. More good news, Boyd has another book featuring Steve Vail that just came out last month! Could be a franchise!

Butler will, of course, next be seen in Marc Forster’s Machine Gun Preacher opening September 23 and Ralph Fiennes’ Coriolanus, opening December 2. Both films will screen at TIFF next month. I’d say this calls for some pics!

World War Z Films on Cornish Coast PHOTOS

World War Z Films on Cornish Coast
More pics are coming off the set of Marc Forster’s film version of Max Brooks’  zombie apocalypse story World War Z featuring Brad PittShooting has moved from Malta to the Cornish coast of England. The pics below look to be some action taking place on a battle ship.
As we told you last month, it was way back in 2008 that Brad Pitt and his Plan B production company wrested the rights from Appian Way and Leonardo DiCaprio. Now the ‘world’s most famous DILF’  stars as the main character, also called Max Brooks, (a fictionalized version of the author, who is the son of Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft) who travels around the world, ten years after a planet wide zombie epidemic, on behalf of the United Nations, collecting and documenting stories from survivors of the battles against the zombie hoards. The epidemic is referred to as the titular World War Z that almost eradicated the human race.

World War Z also stars Anthony Mackie, Mireille Enos (from AMC’s ‘The Killing’-woot!) and James Badge Dale (from HBO’s ‘The Pacific’- double woot!). Matthew Fox has reportedly dropped out due to ‘scheduling conflicts’.

Forster is bringing one of the year’s most hotly anticipated films (by me), Machine Gun Preacher, with Gerard Butler, Michelle Monihan and Michael Shannon, to TIFF next month ahead of its September 23 US release. It hits the UK on 18 November.  World War Z will storm into theaters sometime in 2012. Sounds like a blast! We’ll keep you posted!

Singer Gavin DeGraw is in Bellevue Hospital after being brutally attacked by several people late Sunday night in New York City TMZ is reporting.

Apparently he was outnumbered and the assault was vicious.

That is so horrific, poor Gavin. We hope for a speedy and full recovery and that those evil people responsible for this are brought to justice.

Nicolette Sheridan Back For Desperate Housewives’ Finale Despite $20 Million Lawsuit

Nicolette Sheridan Back For Desperate Housewives' Finale Despite $20 Million Lawsuit

Nicolette Sheridan 47, who was fired from and is suing Desperate Housewives’ creator Marc Cherry for $20 MILLION  is supposed to be making an explosive appearance in the series finale.

Nicolette was fired back in 2009 (and her character Eddie Britt was killed off) and in turn sued Marc for wrongful dismissal, but Marc is looking for a way to integrate her character back into the show’s finale. He said:

” I have an idea for the last episode where I want to pay homage to everyone who has been there before, been on the show.”

It is unknown if she will be filming new footage or they will use unseen footage.

Although her trial for wrongful dismissal is going to be hitting the courts in October, it is believed an out-of-court settlement will take place beforehand.

Didn’t see this one coming, but you can never say never, right?

Ice, Ice Baby! NSFW

the iceman movie poster

Thanks to the folks at The Film Stage, there’s an extended clip  for Ariel Vroman’s forthcoming psychological thriller, The Iceman. I’ve told you a little about this one about a month ago. I’m really looking forward to it for a number of reasons, including the cast, which includes James Franco, Benicio Del Toro and Michael Shannon, who as I said is making the most of his post-Oscar nomination-bump. He’ll  be seen next month in Machine Gun Preacher  in competition at TIFF as well as another TIFF contender Take Shelter . He’ll appear in James Franco’s directorial debut, The Broken Tower  and in the second season of HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” as the conflicted and possibly twisted G-Man Nelson Van Alden. The director, Ariel Vromen is responsible for DanikaRx and a little short by the name of Jewel of the Sahara. (Look it up. I told you all roads lead to G)

The Iceman is based on the book of the same name, the true story of cold blooded killer Richard Kuklinksi, played by Michael Shannon, who was a contract assassin for the mob while also a devoted family man. The title comes from Kuklinski’s nickname. He reportedly froze his victims in order to throw off the authorities trying to discern time of death.

Other cast includes Elias Koteas (remember what I told you) and Vromen regular Ori Pfeffer. I thought that The Iceman was already in production, especially since we have a poster, but according to The Film Stage, it is not. The clip below is called a “test scene” and features Shannon with Michael Wincott (who has definitely had work done). Wincott is not listed on the imdb page and James Franco is listed as playing his role, Mr. Softee. In any case, this is creepy as hell and has just gotten me even more torqued for the finished product!  Nu Image and Millenium films have not set release dates, we’ll keep you posted.
