Kelly Rowland has joined the not-so-exclusive Wardrobe Malfunction Club (of the nip slip variety). Is it just me or is having a wardrobe malfunction the latest ‘in’ thing? Has it replaced the sex tape in Hollywood?
Kelly was at Club 4Sixty6 when her right nipple was exposed. Call me crazy but doesn’t one feel more of a breeze on the breast that is exposed? Mind you, the left breast is trying to poke its way out as well. I’ll take what article of clothing doesn’t fit Kelly Rowland for $1,000 Alex.
If I had my choice between seeing a nip slip and a celebrity flashing their vadge as they get out of a vehicle I’ll take the nip slip. Breasts are beautiful baby.
This is a fabulous picture of Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato as they share some laughs on the red (actually it’s blue) carpet last night at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards that took place in Los Angeles. It’s great to see Demi Lovato so happy and healthy!
Selena had lots to smile about last night as she and Taylor Swift were the big winners of the night. Selena took home 5 surf boards, with her boyfriend Justin Bieber only taking home 4. Taylor Swift was the big winner taking home 6 awards.
Lots of vampires also attended the 2011 Teen Choice Awards including those from Vampire Diaries (Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley) as well as some Twilight cast members: Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner (okay he’s a werewolf).
100+ pictures of both the red (blue) carpet and press room.
Dancing With The Stars kicks off Season 13 on September 19, 2011 and we will know who the celebrities (or d-listers) are on August 29 when the big reveal will take place during Bachelor Pad. Does anyone watch that show?
Dancing With The Stars’ hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke will make the announcement. Then on September 20, 2011 we will have a chance to ‘Meet The Cast’ which is the day after Season 13 kicks off.
So far word is that Robert Kardashian, Christina Milian and Evelyn Lozado are (allegedly) set to appear but not much else has hit the media.
Who would you want to see? Personally I would love to see Gerard Butler, Jason Statham and Kiefer Sutherland. Despite ABC’s attempt to attract more A-listers, I can pretty much bet the bank none of those mansicles will (ever) be on.
Thanks to the UK’s The Sun, we’ve got a first look at a trailer for Julian Gilbey’s A Lonely Place to Die.
Official synopsis: A group of five mountaineers are hiking and climbing in the Scottish Highlands when they discover a young Serbian girl buried in a small chamber in the wilderness. They become caught up in a terrifying game of cat and mouse with the kidnappers and the girl’s even deadlier father as they try to get the girl to safety.
They had me at Scottish Highlands. It was filmed on Ben Nevis. Director Julian Gilbey doesn’t have a lot under his belt, although he was nominated for a BAFTA for Best Newcomer after 2007′s Rollin’ with the Nines, but since I’m always on the look-out for a good Brit gangster flick, I’ve seen Rise of the Footsoldier, one of the best. It’s sort of a low budget British Goodfellas.
A Lonely Place to Die (I keep hearing The Smithereens’ “In a Lonely Place” in my head, even though the song was inspired by Nicholas Ray’s In a Lonely Place with Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Grahame. Sorry runaway train of thought), stars Melissa George (“Grey’s Anatomy”, “Alias”, Thirty Days of Night, Derailed, Russell Simmons’ current arm candy), Eammon Walker, Sean Harris and Karel Roden (The young Serbian girl is the daughter of a vicious Serbian war criminal. I’m not sure if this is Roden, but I’m glad to see him anyway. I haven’t seen him in anything since 2008′s Rocknrolla).
A Lonely Place to Die has already made the rounds of a few of the smaller festivals. It opens in the UK on 9 September and in the US on November 11.
I saw the trailer for Rowan Joffe’s Brighton Rock on the big screen yesterday and my jaw literally dropped. Why the hell have I not heard about this one before now?
Brighton Rock is based on the brilliant novel by British author Graham Greene ( also responsible for the books up which The End of the Affair and The Third Manare based) of the same name and let me tell you, the imdb synopsis barely skims the surface: “…charts the headlong fall of Pinkie, a razor-wielding disadvantaged teenager with a religious death wish.” I’m not sure what about that little blurb is gonna entice anyone to buy a ticket, but I’m thinking you should. Judging from the trailer I’d say writer/director Rowan Joffe (son of Roland “The Killing Fields” Joffe) has crafted a psychological thriller that captures the moody noir-ish atmosphere of Greene’s violent and sexually charged book (and yes, his religion does inform most of his work).
Andrea Riseborough, who is currently filming Welcome to the Punch with Mark Strong and James McAvoy and will appear as Wallis Simpson in Madonna’s W.E. later this year, plays Rose, the naive waitress beguiled into a romance with charming Pinkie, a sociopath trying to earn a reputation in the underworld of Brighton, England in the 1950′s played by Sam Riley (Contol) who looks here like Leo DiCaprio’s younger brother. Dame Helen Mirren plays Rose’s world-weary boss becomes suspicious Pinkie and his motivations, and of course it all goes wrong from there.
The cast also includes Philip Davis, Andy Serkis, Sean Harris and John Hurt. This is director Joffe’s first feature film although he was responsible for the screenplays for 28 Weeks Later,Last Resort and one of my favorites from 2010, The American.
Brighton Rock opens in theaters in the US either on August 19 (according to IFC Films site) or the 26th (says Fandango. Either way, I’ll bet my left tat that means NY and LA. Grrrrr) It is due On Demand on August 31. I’m giddy with excitement!
