Extended Clip from Killer Elite!

Action Packed Killer Elite Clip!

Something new from Killer Elite with Jason Statham! Woot! Not a trailer but an extended clip of a brutal fight scene, it's one minute and seventeen seconds of pure macho mayhem. The WWF would be proud.  I love the glint Clive Owen gets in his eye as he snarls and bares his teeth under that wicked 'tache. Spike (Owen), finds himself ambushed by Statham's British SAS man, Danny Bryce, inside a hospital. The pair engage in a brutal fight, with Bryce gouging viciously at Spike's eye. Ouch! Tis isn't rated R for strong violence for nothin'. (I know that shouldn't be hot, but it's Clive Owen grappling The Stath and his stubble!)

Based on the true story of the "Feather Men" and a book by Ranulph Fiennes, Killer Elite focuses on ex-SAS operative Danny Bryce who is called back in to the field to rescue his mentor, Hunter played by Robert De Niro, from the "cunning leader" (you didn't really think I'd miss an opportunity to say that again, did you?) of a secret military society (Owen's Spike). Covering the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East, Danny and Hunter are plunged into a highly dangerous game of cat and mouse – where the predators become the prey.

Killer Elite opens in the US, Canada and the UK on September 23. Finally!

Whoa! Trailer for Premium Rush!

Whoa! Trailer for Premium Rush!

When this trailer started, I thought David Koepp's new movie, Premium Rush, was a remake of Quicksilver, the 1986 bike messenger movie with Kevin Bacon. It's not. Although Koepp did direct Bacon in A Stir of Echoes. (If not G, everything leads to Bacon.) It's actually about a New York City bicycle messenger (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who picks up an envelope from a woman at a Manhattan college and told he has 90 minutes to deliver it to Chinatown. Things get complicated when he attracts the interest of a dirty undercover cop (Michael Shannon -again!-), who pursues the messenger throughout the city.  Koepp's last directorial effort was 2008's Ghost Town, an under-seen and under-rated comedy with Ricky Gervais. He's also written the screenplays for some of your favorites, like Jurassic Park,Mission:ImpossiblePanic RoomWar of the Worlds and Spider-Man.

In any case, this looks like a literal thrill ride. Movies like this usually take place on four wheels; think about every movie with a car chase you've ever seen crossed with elements of Memento, the aforementioned QuicksilverAmerican Flyers and Breaking Away. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is so likeable, it's easy to root for this, plus Michael Shannon doesn't do crap. He looks like he'd go all sorts of crazy on anyone who tried to make him do crap.

Along with JGL and Shannon, the film stars "The Daily Show"'s Assif Mandvi, Jamie Chung and Dania Ramirez. Premium Rush opens January 13, 2012. (Which would normally have meant the kiss of death, but January isn't the bad movie dumping ground it once was. We'll see.)

Rihanna Announces Fall Release For New Album

Rihanna Gets LOUD in Toronto - PHOTOS

Rihanna has a new album in the works that is going to be released in the Fall she has confirmed! This new album will mark her sixth album and it will have dubstep influences like on her Rated R album she tweeted: "You KNOW how I been lovin Dubstep since Rated R,"

There has been so much speculation in the media recently that she is leaving her management team (Jay-Z), so news of a release is a bit shocking to some.

Producer Verse Simmonds dishes a little on what to expect from her album:

"From what I understand, she's closing the album up now, and we did two records for her that she really, really loved, and I'm really excited about them as well," Simmonds said. "They are records that we wrote and produced as the Jugganauts."

Simmonds admitted that he was "99.999 percent" his Jugganauts' contributions will make the final cut, adding that his tunes on the LP will not sound similar to "Man Down."

New album means new tour and I am dying to see Rihanna in concert. Are you a fan of Rihanna's? Is this welcome news for you?

Brad Pitt Apologizes For Jennifer Aniston ‘Dull’ Quote From Parade Magazine

Brad Pitt Saves a Child on Set of World War Z!

Brad Pitt has issued a statement after an interview he gave with Parade magazine was released and in it it appeared he was insulting Jennifer Aniston in their marriage saying it was dull.  He was quoted as saying:

"It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasn't living an interesting life myself," Pitt said about the tail-end of his marriage to Aniston, which lasted from 2000 to 2005. "I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn't."

He also lamented that he spent much of the '90s "trying to hide out," adding, "I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out."

We all tore the Bradster a new one because it's like WTF is wrong with you saying something like that after all of these years after you left the woman for Angelina Jolie. It's like pouring salt into a wound.  Then he goes on to say about Angelina:

"I'm satisfied with making true choices and finding the woman I love, Angie, and building a family that I love so much. A family is a risky venture, because the greater the love, the greater the loss," he said. "That's the trade-off. But I'll take it all. … One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh, man, I'm so happy to have her."

That statement you can almost interpret as a jab being in there, but Brad is so very sad by the way it was all interpreted and issued this statement:

"It grieves me that this was interpreted this way. Jen is an incredibly giving, loving, and hilarious woman who remains my friend. It is an important relationship I value greatly," he explained in the statement released through his talent agency. "The point I was trying to make is not that Jen was dull, but that I was becoming dull to myself — and that, I am responsible for."

Are you buying his apology? I mean he could have elaborated in the Parade interview. The dude has been in show business long enough to know that what he said was bound to be interpreted. Remember Angelina Jolie doesn't have a PR person. She is a MASTERMIND at that game. So perhaps Brad learned a thing or two from her and this is all very calculated. When you lose trust in someone it's kind of hard to believe anything that comes out of their mouth. It's like crying wolf, you know?

What do you think, is this a sincere apology or just keeping it all out there for 'Moneyball'?

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick in London. Is She Engaged? PHOTOS

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick in London. Is She Engaged? PHOTOS

Britney Spears is in London with her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick and of course rumors are rampant that she is engaged because she has a ring on 'that' finger. But Britney has been wearing a ring on that finger FOREVER. And just because Jason was spotted shopping at a jewelry store doesn't mean they are engaged!

Britney looks so happy and healthy. She loves being in London and it shows. She's seen here leaving Radio 1 with Jason. What a gentleman he is opening the door for her. He seems really great for her and I couldn't be happier for dollface.

Enjoy the pics.

Trailer for We Bought A Zoo with Matt Damon!

Trailer for We Bought A Zoo with Matt Damon!

There is finally a trailer for Cameron Crowe's We Bought A Zoo! I've been curious about this for a long time. The premise is that single dad Benjamin Mee (Matt Damon), in a desire to change his life and improve the lives of his children, moves his family to a rural part of Southern California to renovate and re-open a struggling zoo. Scarlett Johannson plays his fledgling zookeeper and from what little we see here, it looks like they'll have some sweet chemistry.

I have to say, I'm a fan of Cameron Crowe's films, particularly Jerry Maguire (and proud of it) and Say Anything. If there's one thing you can count on with a Crowe film, it's heart. And while the film is pretty high-concept, I think that given the grin I was sporting while watching this trailer, we can count on it here too. I think that Thomas Haden Church probably sums it up when he says "I like the animals, but I love the people."

Damon, Johannson and HadenChurch star with Elle Fanning, John Michael Higgins, Angus Macfadyen (yum!), Peter Riegert and Crowe-find Patrick Fugit (Almost Famous).  We Bought A Zoo opens on December 23 in the US, Canada and the UK.
