Check out this extended scene from the home version of Matthew Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class! I can’t believe this is coming to dvd and Blu-ray already. It just came out in the beginning of June! Where has this summer gone?

Oh well, at least we’ll be able to have Magneto…I mean Michael Fassbender…I mean the movie…for our very own to watch over and over and over and over…well, you get the picture.  X-Men: First Class will be available on dvd and Blu-ray in the US and Canada on September 9th. In the meantime, thanks to /Film, we can watch the scene below featuring James McAvoy’s Charles Xavier showing Havoc (Lucas Till) his underground lair…and then sticking his foot in it.

Justin Timberlake Gives Surprise Concert Performance in NYC (PHOTOS)

Last night Justin Timberlake surprised fans (do you SEE the crush at the door?) and celebrities (think Amanda Seyfried, Kim Kardashian , Kourtney Kardashian and Emma Roberts) when he showed with his hip-hop/rock group FreeSol at Southern Hospitality in the Hell’s Kitchen area of Manhattan.

He tweeted the news just a few hours before the event but the police still needed to be called in to control the crowd. This is Justin Timberlake’s first musical performance in FOREVER! He and FreeSol sang Hoodies On, Hats Low which is their new single. He also sang an acoustic version of ‘What Goes Around’. I would chew off my right arm to have been at this eatery!

He thanked the fans and said: ”So you got my tweet, huh?”  Um, yeah. I think anywhere Timberlake shows up it will be standing room only.

FreeSol is signed to Justin’s record label Tennman Record and will perform a free concert TONIGHT at the Big Apple’s Irving Plaza. No word if Justin will perform with them, but I would go just in case if in the position to do so!

Mark Wahlberg has a new hamburger joint with his brother Donnie Wahlberg named Wahlbergers (I love that they are sharing their meat with us) and they are already considering taking it to the next level: a reality show!

Mark is saying the reality show would follow the opening of the high end burger joint but he won’t be in it. WHAT. THE. ??? He tells E! News:

Maybe I’ll be the Charlie’s Angels of reality TV,” Wahlberg said at the Graduate to Go Studio launch at the L.A. Harbor Boys & Girls Club. “You’ll hear my voice. But obviously it’s something that we’d want to control in every aspect and produce and make sure that we were doing something really quality.”

Earth to Mark. It would be extra special quality if YOU were in it. And by you I mean that face and body. Am I right ladies and gentlemen?

But Mark and his brothers are just getting started. In addition to providing us with meat (hehe) they are going to be launching a clothing line:

“We are interested at some point or another doing our own clothing line in the future,” he said. “As well as a health and wellness business that will help people first and foremost feel good, exercise, eat right and then look good…Eighty-five percent of the population doesn’t exercise and eat right, and you want to be able to push them in the direction of extending their lifespan and living healthy lives.”

Something tells me anything these Wahlberg men do will be successful!

George Clooney, who is rapidly becoming the silver lion of American Film (check out the poster for his film, he’ll be on a stamp soon), pulled up to the Lido in a shiny white boat last night (I predicted ‘stretch gondola’ but I was damn close!) and stepped out onto the red carpet for the world premiere of his latest directorial effort, The Ides of March. No, that’s not Elisabetta Canalis in the boat, it’s Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber.

Also in attendance were George’s costars Evan Rachel Wood, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei and Paul Giamatti. Conspicuous by his absence was Ryan Gosling who denied the women of Italy his Baby Goose-iness because he’s still in upstate New York filming The Place Beyond the Pines.

After a stop in Toronto, The Ides of March opens in the US on October 7 and in the UK on 28 October. Watch this space…we’ll have more from Venice in the next few days!

Back on July 15th we reported the shocking news that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had split up. Marc Anthony 42, is now breaking his silence and speaking to ABC News about his impending divorce from his wife of seven years Jennifer Lopez 42 and what actually happened..

There were rumors of him and Jada Pinkett Smith having an affair on the set of HawthoRNe, and also the report he joined the mile high club with a flight attendant. Marc is telling ABC News that not only did none of that happen, there is nothing sensationalistic about their divorce:

“I’ll tell you that it wasn’t something sensationalistic happening,” ”It was a realization on both our parts. So you know it wasn’t shocking. These things happen,” he says. “It was a decision that we made jointly.”

Life goes on and although he will ‘always love Jennifer’ it’s not the end of the world:

“This is not a funeral. This is not a burial,” Anthony says. “This is just two people who came together and just realized – and so I’m saying that it wasn’t sustainable the way it was, and that’s that.”

Am I reading too much into the ‘it wasn’t sustainable the way it was’? I wonder what that really means? Either way it’s their life and they are both grown-ups and life is way too short to be unhappy.
