Gawker has provided us with three blinds. One focuses on an actress' bad behaviour and her delusion. One focuses on denial and one focuses on naughtiness that has potential to be a bloody mess. Truly. Guesses?

1. "This C+ actress from a television series seems to think she is big enough in the industry she can start calling the shots. Unhappy with the way her character was written on the last season of her show, she demanded a different storyline. When the writers refused, she went on ‘strike' and would show up to work but wouldn't leave her trailer to film scenes. This caused the writers to rewrite her character, but not as she had planned. 2. "The kids of this celebrity couple are not handling the upcoming divorce too well. One is angry and getting into fights at school. Another is crying every day and begging the couple to stay together. Angelina Jolie is in London and stopped by Gwen Stefani's home with Zahara, Shiloh, and the cute little twins Vivienne and Knox for a playdate with Gwen's kids Zuma and Kingston where the kids got into finger paints. 

If this friendship (Angelina and Gwen) seems odd, it's not really. These two apparently bonded when their kids (Shiloh and Kingston) were born within days of reach other.

Apparently Angie and brood arrived at about 5 p.m. and left at about 9 p.m. Enjoy the pics.

We have some cool new images from Tim Burton's Dark Shadows to share with you, courtesy of Empire. The first is a full cast pic and i have to say, as someone who used to race home to see the black and white television show after school, I think Burton looks to be paying homage to that goth classic .

Johnny Depp stars as Barnabas Collins and he definitely looks like his hair and makeup are modeled on that of Jonathan Frid. (I read it in more than one place that Depp looked like Eddie Munster. Which means one person said it and then the web slingshotted it around. Ridiculous) The top photo depicts the main cast from left to right; Helena Bonham Carter (Dr. Julia Hoffman), Chloe Moretz (Carolyn Stoddard), Eva Green (Angelique Bouchard), Gulliver McGrath (David Collins), Bella Heathcote (Victoria Winters), Depp, Ray Shirley (Mrs. Johnson), Jackie Earle Haley (Willie Loomis), Jonny Lee Miller (Roger Collins) and Michelle Pfeiffer (Elizabeth Collins Stoddard).  And all of them are spot on. Compare it to the original cast pic at the bottom. That's the one Burton used to create the "look".

Warner Bros. synopsis: In the year 1752, Joshua and Naomi Collins, with young son Barnabas, set sail from Liverpool, England to start a new life in America. But even an ocean was not enough to escape the mysterious curse that has plagued their family. Two decades pass and Barnabas (Depp) has the world at his feet-or at least the town of Collinsport, Maine. The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy…until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard (Green). A witch, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive. Two centuries later, Barnabas is inadvertently freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Manor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin. The dysfunctional remnants of the Collins family have fared little better…

Yesterday Ellen DeGeneres had a scare when she felt a tightness and heaviness in her chest whereupon paramedics were called to check her out. It turns out it was nothing and she was back taping her show hours after the scare.

She gave a shout out to TMZ who broke the story which was pretty funny, but her explanation in general was funny. Think hot firemen coming to the rescue. 

Glad to hear that Ellen is feeling good and that it's nothing serious at all!

It's been well over a month since we've had any news about Roman Polanski's Carnage. Now that the New York Film Festival is about to begin, I'm sure we'll start to get more as Carnage is slated to be the opening film of the festival, this Friday September 30th.

After playing the Venice Film Festival, Carnage skipped TIFF in favor of the Zurich Film Festival where director Polanski  will return to the country of his incarceration to pick up a lifetime achievement award on the 27th before the film is screened.  (We all know he won't be in New York, although most of the four stars, Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, Christoph Waltz and John C. Reilly are expected to attend.)

From the Variety review: "Roughhousing among 11-year-olds ends with one boy, Zachary, striking another, Ethan, with a stick. It's a wordless tableau that forms a deliberate contrast with the verbal pyrotechnics to follow in … Polanski's adaptation (translated from French into English by Michael Katims) {of Yasmina' Reza's play.} 

The incident leaves Ethan with two missing teeth, and Zachary's parents, Alan and Nancy Cowen (Christoph Waltz and Kate Winslet), pay a visit to Ethan's parents, Penelope and Michael Longstreet (Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly), to initiate a reconciliation between their sons. Yet as the four discuss the incident with initially polite deference over cobbler and coffee, their veneer of civility soon crumbles under the filmmakers' relentless scrutiny."

Can't wait! Carnage opens for us non-festival goers here in the US on December 16.
