Time For Another Poster Post!

We'll start with this vertigo inducing poster from Brad Bird's Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol starring the ageless Tom Cruise as the human fly there on the side of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the world's tallest building. No sir. Not way, not no how, would I be doing that. I can barely look at it. The poster is for the Imax version of the film that will debut December 16, one week ahead of the theatrical version. I don't think I could take it in Imax, but that's just me. I'm a wimp. The rest of the movie does look like good fun and it's got Jeremy Renner, Tom Wilkinson and Simon Pegg along for the ride.

Next up, we finally have a fitting poster for Andrea Arnold's new adaptation of Emily Bronte's classic, Wuthering Heights that we've been telling you about. (Arnold's last film was Fish Tank with Michael Fassbender and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it.) The poster shows Heathcliffe facing the moors in a driving rain, which is apropos of the tagline "Love is a force of nature". Wuthering Heights played the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals last month and is set for the BFI London Film Festival on October 22 before a November 11 bow in the UK.
Finally, we have five posters for The Hunger Games, each one representing a "District" represented by the games. Lionsgate, who won't be releasing the film until next May, is already putting on the hard sell for this one. (Probably unnecessarily since, like the Harry Potter series,The Hunger Games has a legion of readers anxiously awaiting the film.) There are new Facebook pages with Districts set up for the areas in which the players of The Hunger Games take part. Enjoy!
